Hi there,
Just to let you know, Flare support confirmed that this is a bug. Unfortunately, this means that we will have to drop using glossary term links in our output because we need readable search result abstract text. We don't have time manually fix this for each topic by putting in meta ...

Hi Dave,
Thanks very much for that. At least I know now that it should work so it must be down to my user error that it is not.

MadCap | dropDown style and the display: none property
Hi all,
Does the "MadCap | dropDown" style with the "display: none" property set work in a Medium: print?
This property seems to work in the default medium for HTML output but not in the print medium for our PDF output.
thanks,
mark

Analyzer newbie question around unused bookmarks
Hi there,
We have imported a lot of content from Framemaker to a Flare project. When I use Analyzer, it states that there are over 5000 Unused Bookmarks in the project. My questions are:
Is it okay to remove these unused bookmarks?
Is there any performance advantage to removing unused bookmarks ...

Re: Large images displaying below mini-toc in top navigation
Hi Dave,
Thanks for that. I will try your Div container suggestion. What I wanted to happen was for the image to automatically resize to fit with a mini toc rather than being pushed below the mini toc.
thanks,

Large images displaying below mini-toc in top navigation
Hi there,
This is probably a very basic question. We are using the top-navigation HTML5 output for our documentation. If I have a large image on certain topics, it gets pushed below the mini-toc (see attached), which creates a large space between the topic text and the image. Is there any way to ...

Re: Using and applying conditional tags?
When I attended Flare basic training a few months back, the trainer suggested that it is better to select the Exclude option to exclude any conditional tagged content that you do not want in your output. Then by default, anything you have not excluded would be included by default.

Hi Dave,
Thanks for that, sounds like a plan. If we went with that, is there any way to have the "Home" link displaying on every page except for the Home page itself?
thanks,

I never knew about those properties, but both have a value of not set. I am guessing that there is no limit on image sizes for popups so it must be some other setting I have.

Hi there,
I have set our images (most are screenshots) to display as thumbnails and have set the mc-thumbnail property to popup . For most of our images, this works fine. However, we have some large images (for example, 920 w x 1284 h pixels) and they do not display at full size in a popup. It ...
