That help procedure grinds to a halt for me at step one.
"Open an HTML5 Topic Toolbar skin component."
I'm not sure how you do that, but I am assuming it means Target > Skin > Component Default Skins.
None of those components (Menu, toolbar, search, favicon etc) can be edited. Drop-down list ...

Er... where are the toolbar button styles?
This is making feel a bit stupid, but... when I edit my HTML5 top navigation skin, I have what I fear is a limited number of options in the Styles tab.

Editing image thumbnail style
I am using image thumbnails in a topic and want nice crisp right-angled corners. The HTML in the source .htm file is
<img src="test.png" class="Thumbnail" />
and in the CSS
img.Thumbnail
{
mc-thumbnail-max-height: 75px;
mc-thumbnail: hover;
border: none;

Re: Thumbnails not behaving as expected
Only 6 years old this thread. Anyone found a solution in the meantime?
I assume mine is the same problem as the OP's. I set mc-thumbnail to "popup", and when I click on an image it opens in a new something, but that something remains at the width of the host window and changes size when you resize ...

"Headings" in mobile output
I can't find a way of controlling the topic title in the mobile output.
I need the very first page to be a "Choose language" option. I have done this by changing the Label of the ToC to "Choose language", after which you get the topics in the .fltoc with top levels of English, German, Spanish et al ...

Relentless exceptions
Practically everything I do now causes a NullReferenceException error in Flare. Just trying to change the view, selecting open file tabs, dragging a file into a ToC, everything.
In the past I've sent the error report to MadCap every time it happens, but seeing as no matter how much I try to ...

(the crash occurs the moment the mouse crosses into the Editor area, not on drop, if that makes any difference.)

Crash on dragging files. Really aggravating.
I have a problem whereby every time I try to drag a snippet or image from the Content Explorer to a topic, Flare "encounters a problem". At one stage I repeatedly sent the crash report to inundate their tech support/whoever in the hope of some action being taken (doesn't appear to have worked ...

Re: Temporarily stopping PDF bookmarks
Thanks, but I worded the Q badly and actually meant "so that if you clicked Show Bookmarks in PDF Reader you'd see nothing".

Temporarily stopping PDF bookmarksq
Is there a way to generate a PDF and switch the auto-generated Bookmarks/contents list on or off? I know I can use different styles to remove headings from TOCs, but it seems a bit extreme to try and maintain 2 different styles/sets of headings.

Stopping repeating headers
I'm having no luck sorting things out myself this week <sigh>
The default behaviour appears to be header rows are repeated when a table breaks across pages. How do I stop that? Surely it's a basic option in the TableStyle Editor, but I can't find it (or any mention in help topics).

"Add Complex Selector" command?
I want to create a new complex selector. Can I do this using Flare?
I'm getting riled that in the stylesheet editor I have a (Complex Selectors) Styles group, but if I right-click I only have Collapse and Expand options. I want an Add button!
Am I missing something, or is there no alternative to ...

Re: Importing into non-default folders
You will need to set a huge amount of conditions to keep output to a single language.
I don't want a single language. I want all languages on one page.
1. I create a project which is just a load of English snippets.
2. I use Lingo to create 5 other projects, 1 for each translation process.
3. I ...

Importing into non-default folders
This question might be better placed in the Lingo forum, but I'll try here first :)

How can I toggle snippet file names?
This sounds such a basic question, but I really can't find the required command in the interface.
I have several snippets on a page, and each one displays the start of the snippet file name in grey before the actual snippet text. I can see why you'd want this, but all the extra characters for the ...
