Hi,
I need to create a different footer for each output: Web, Tablet, and Mobile. I can use snippets or whatever. Can someone please help me get started?
THANK YOU,

Breadcrumb formatting
I think I have tried it all and even hand coded some craziness. I cannot get my Breadcrumb to be the same font size. I just want it all to be .8em and my links have another idea. I have tweaked:
breadcrumbsProxy, a.MCBreadcrumsLink, a.MCBreadcrumsLink:hover, a.MCBreadcrumsLink:visited. The "You are ...

Re: Copy inline formatting to create a style
SOLVED!! Excellent idea. I don't know why I didn't think of that. Probably because I fell out of my chair when I opened the first four projects and saw what I was in for. It didn't pick them all up, but will give me a start.

Copy inline formatting to create a style
Hi,
Is there a way to take a paragraph that has inline formatting and create a style in the CSS file? I inherited a monster help system and it is built using inline styles and not a CSS.
Thanks,
Tawni

My bad. Just happened to name it Movie. Slideshow doesn't' seem to do what I want it to. I am going to try to hard code some styles and force Flare to do what I want.
I will report back when I make this bad girl run!!
Thanks for your help.

Re: Animated Transition to text in a topic
Hi Alex,
I inserted a slideshow (movie) and was playing with that, but I do not see and "Object" option. I see my standard drop-down text, toggler, expanding text, and text popup options. Is this what you are talking about?
It can't be this hard. I really don't want to hand code this. :shock ...

Animated Transition to text in a topic
Hi,
Can Flare 2018 perform an animated transition like PowerPoint? I would like to use my project like PowerPoint training. I want the trainer to be able to "click" and the next bullet point displays and so on.
I'm open to any ideas!!
Thank you, Tawni

Insert Topic into Slideshow
Hi,
Can you add (insert/import) an entire topic into a slideshow? I can get the Heading to display, but not the entire slide. I want my slide show to be used for training like a PowerPoint presentation whilst keeping my Topics up-to-date thus assuming my Slideshow remains current too.

Style for following paragraph
Hi,
Is there a way to set a "Style for the following paragraph" as in Word. I need my H1 to automatically display a custom style "p.together" after I press Enter.
Thank you,
Tawni

Re: How to Force Page Break in Table
HI,
Use the table.css to create a Row Style with your Print Options set to the correct Page Break you desire. Set your table to use that Table Style and select the Row Style to the Row Style you just created. I have Row Styles like BreakAfter, BreakBefore, BreakBoth, and BreakNone.
Good luck,
Tawni

Re: SOLVED: How do I change the glossary term popup containe
After jumping through hoops, I finally figured out how to delete that annoying drop-down icon from my glossary terms. I'm using Flare 2017r2. In the default style sheet:
1. Select Madcap.glosssaryTerm style.
2. Set the background-image to none .
3. Set the mc-closed-image to none .

Z-index in Top Navigation
Hi,
Version 12, HTML Top Navigation output.
Can I set a z-index value for the menu in my Top Navigation? It is going under some custom JavaScript I wrote in my MasterPage.
Thanks,
Tawni

Well then, I guess I get to use my favorite word "No." Clients hate that, but I can't fix what can't be done. Thanks so much for your help.

Search Results in current window
Hi,
Flare 12, HTML Top Navigation
I have my Search Bar Proxy in my MasterPage and NOT in the Top Navigation bar. Is it possible to have my Search results returned directly below my Search Bar Proxy? I added the Search Results Proxy but my search continues to display in a new page.
THANKS,
Tawni

Upgrade CRASH on spell check
Hi,
I upgraded this morning to the latest Flare 12 and now I can't spell check or I crash. I can't add a word to the dictionary or I crash. Is anyone else having this issue. Can I roll back to the previous version.
Thanks, Tawni

Thanks Lydia!!
I had my PrintSupport > page-break-before set to always. I set it to Avoid and just like magic, that extra page disapeared.

Extra Page Prints before Topic Prints
Hi,
I generate my HTML help and click the standard Print button in the toolbar. An extra page always prints BEFORE my topic does. This also happens if I press Ctrl+W on the topic in Flare and right-mouse click and print. Seems like a lot of waste of paper. Any ideas?
THANKS,
Tawni
