Thanks Psider but they don't relate to a specific topic and I don't want there to be clickable links, just standard "see" links. In my example I have numerous sub-topics under "Setting function" and I just want the "Set function" entry to refer people to the Setting function in the index.

I know that index entries can be made conditional when they relate to a specific topic, but what about index entries that are "see" links?

Aim: I want the following index entries:

Thanks for the suggestion Moshe but I've tried both XML and WYSIWYG and couldn't get it to work. However, Madcap have included a fix in version 12 that sorts it out, so I'm a Happy User on that front again!

UPDATE: Madcap support have confirmed that "Flare only supports UTF-8. Unicode is handled by Windows as UTF-16, therefore Flare does not support it." I have asked whether there are any plans to introduce support for Unicode and will post here when I get a response. I'm sure I can't be the only ...
