Thanks. I know that my request is a little confusing.

I can publish to one location and anyone connected to the in-house network can access the website using a machine_name/folder and anyone external (only ...

Applying style to a "block" of content
Using Flare to manage a master set of requirements.
Over time, these requirements change.
Would like to be able to produce a printed set of the requirements that contains all "current" and "historical" content.

Tutorial for auto-numbering
Hi,
Still relatively new to Flare - extremely new to PDF/Word publishing.
I was wondering if there is a good Flare tutorial for teaching how to use the auto-numbering feature.
I would like to have my:
h1 items prefixed with "1 - " (omit the ") incremented, but I would like other previous h1 items ...

Thanks for all the suggestions. It appears that it was the "Clear Cache".
I thought that I had the code in place to suppress caching on this "site".
Working as all have indicated.
Appreciate your time and patience.

Re: TOC Hyperlink
I open the TOC item properties, select the "Select Topic" radio button, paste the URL (e.g. http://www.google.com), and then publish my site.
When I select the TOC entry that has the URL link, nothing happens.
Don't know what else to say. I can't seem to make this work as claimed.

FYI - I contacted Madcap Support. Their response was -
Jim P.there is not currently a way to link directly from a TOC entry to an external link. The TOC entry must be linked to a topic and then can have a link externally.

Re: TOC Hyperlink
I created a new TOC Item, opened its properties, inserted http://www.google.com in the link and published the TOC to my website.
When I open the TOC and click on the topic with that link, nothing happens.
I'm obviously missing something.
TIA

Hi,
My customer has asked if a TOC item could directly link to a URL rather than embedding the link in a topic.
Is this possible in Flare?

Re: Topic content searchable but not visible
Dave Lee - I'll give the div.hide suggestion a try.
doc_guy - I want the original PDF document to be the "topic", so the "messy" content would be hidden in the topic, and a link to the original PDF would be in that same topic.

Is there a way to create a topic which hides some of the content (or makes it invisible), but still makes that content searchable?

I've caused myself some issues with sending files / topics to another user for review, and while those files / topics are out for review, I've made changes to some of the files.

Ability to use conditions on an image in Capture, on a computer that does not have the Flare application and project that the image will belong to, is NOT possible.
Madcap Support confirmed this for me.

It's difficult to determine where the rotation is occurring.

Import Word Pictures rotated
I have a document that contains picture images.
After importing the word document into my project, all the pictures were rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise.
Any idea why and is there an easy fix?
