Would anyone out there in the MadCap world happen to know if MadCap Central's security meets HIPAA Compliance? I found this whitepaper: https://docs.madcapsoftware.com/central/Central-Security-Whitepaper.pdf but it doesn't go into great detail regarding this level of security.
Thanks in advance ...

Re: Capitalization of output files
Hi Andrew,
Not sure if this is the issue or not or if this will help your problem but I'll give it a shot.
In your target under the "Advanced" tab there is an option to "Use lowercase filenames". If it is checked it should change all filenames to lowercase regardless of how you formatted them ...

Re: Simple import of a topic from one project to another
It shouldn't be to difficult to do.
1. In the imports file of your project, create a new Flare Project import.
2. In the Source Project, navigate to, and select the project that has the topic you want to import.
3. Make sure to uncheck the "Auto Reimport before 'Generate Output'" box
4. In the ...

Re: Saving and linking PDF
Interesting question, Kelly.
I just tried to do that to see what would happen and got this error: "Build Failed: Compliler: Output folder is inside project folder."
My guess is that because the compiler is pulling files from the content folder for the build trying to automatically save the build ...

Re: Saving and linking PDF
Kelly,
I think (and may be corrected on this) that after you generate the pdf and save it (where you can find it), you need to copy it to your content folder in flare. Then in your topic, click "insert a hyperlink" and select "File in Project" - (make sure "All files" is selected). Then you should ...

Re: Import only TOCs
HI Kelly,
When you do your import and select "topic files"(*.htm;*.html) you should have a window popup "Accept Imported Documents". From this window you can either select all the htm/html files or check off the box of the files you want to import.

Re: A wild tab has gotten loose
Joe,
Not sure if your issue has been solved but here's my experience.
When you click and hold a tab you can move it as long as you only move the mouse horizontally staying within the tab plane (NOTE: you must stay within that tab plane or the tab will become a window). I've had no issues ...

Styles Alignment Question
Good morning!
I have just created two styles to perform two different things - the first, to center vertically text on a page. Made the change in the Position section of the style properties window (changed Vertical Alignment to Middle. That worked just as expected and looks great. The second style ...

Left/Right/Center Alignment Question
Good morning,
Not sure if this will be remedied with styles or not. Please direct me to the appropriate forum if needed.
Situation is this, in the footer area of my master page I want to, on the same line, have a portion of text left-aligned, another center-aligned, and a third right-aligned (i.e ...

New Following Style
Hello All,
Forgive me if this has been addressed. I am a relatively new Flare user. I am creating "Caution", "Note", and "Warning" styles for use in a pdf document. What I can not seem to do is set the styles so that the following style (when enter is hit) is the "normal" p style.
Hope the ...
