Devjoe is right on the money here. You'll also notice that if you do a search, you'll see these topics in the search results, and that ties back to the same behavior.
To save you from having to do conditions, there is also a setting in the target (for online targets) that allows you to only ...

Re: Index entries appearing for pages that are not in the TO
Are these topics actually present in the web help outputs in question - that is, if you click them, do their topics appear?
Just removing them from the TOC doesn't make the topics not exist in the target using that TOC - that only happens for print and PDF outputs. You'll need to set up conditions ...

Re: Setting the favicon in the address bar or tab
We automatically build/publish our Flare outputs using TeamCity. I took the advice of nzinopoulos in an earlier post to this thread, and added a reference to the .ico file in our stylesheet. We use global project linking and use the same .css and .ico file in all projects.

Index entries appearing for pages that are not in the TOC.
I have a project containing documentation for a large system. In addition to creating one large web help out put we create smaller chunks of information in pdf and web format.
The problem I am having is the index contains for pages that are not in the TOC of a particular web help build.

Re: Setting the favicon in the address bar or tab
I could really could do with the addition of a Favicon being built into Flare, preferably into the skin. We have source control and are moving towards auto publishing without Authors having to intervene. So , in this new world we won't get the opportunity to add a Favicon to the build.

Re: I am having skin problems.
The usual practice is to set the font-family to multiple fonts, in order of precedence, with specific fonts and a 'generic' font fall-back; e.g. (font-family:) Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;

Re: I am having skin problems.
Well I have made a breakthrough. I roamed around checking through your suggestions and noticed that when I went to the font family it was named Sans Serif and not Open Sans which is what was in the project. This project was set up and worked on in the USA and then passed on to me in the UK and it ...

Re: I am having skin problems.
Thanks for the helpful suggestions. I did originally try the "Open Sans Serif" font family which did not work with any of the text. All of content and navigation appeared in Times New Roman. I changed the body style to Calibri and when building the project it at least put the main content into a ...

I am having skin problems.
I have started work on an existing project that was created by another Technical Author. I wish to make some small changes but during the process have encountered an issue.
I have changed my main font to Calibri. However, this did not cascade as I expected it to, I have therefore changed a number ...

Re: Display Issues whenvViewing Style panel and sheets
I suspect that you have changed the zoom level in Windows. That can mess up all sorts of things in Flare, which prefers users to have really good eyesight and use magnifying glasses rather than Windows Zoom...
Try resetting the zoom level (not in Flare but in Windows) to 100% and see if ...

Display Issues whenvViewing Style panel and sheets
I am having some display issues when viewing the style panel and/or the style sheet itself. I tried searching the forum but could not find anything.

Scott,
I would like your book but there appears to be no epub or kindle option. Is there anywhere I can buy an electronic version of the book?
