Hi Nita, thanks for the help! I used your advice to get the images and captions to stay with their corresponding list item! I added the "page-break-inside: avoid" to my li style, and added all the content that needs to stay together in the li.
I have no idea what this is: "mc-grid-row attribute". I ...

Ordered Lists in "Keep With" Divs
Hi Everyone,
In my guides, I have many ordered lists with images. If a step has an accompanying image, I want to keep that step and the image together. In order to keep these together, I created a "KeepWith" div and set it to Avoid page breaks. This div works, except that step inside the div always ...

Re: Keeping Headers with Image on Same Page
Lisa, I took your advice and created a "KeepWith" div. For the most part, it worked beautifully in the PDF output, except that it caused two issues:
In some cases, all of the content inside of a div would disappear, and a blank page would show up in the PDF.

Hi devjoe, thanks for the tip! However, setting display:none doesn't keep the headings from showing up in the TOC. It just strips the formatting from those headings in the TOC.

Re: How do I create a cross-reference to a numbered step?
I also submitted a feature request for the ability to cross-reference steps, as in:
1. Do this. If this isn't applicable to you, go straight to "Step 3".
2. Do this.
3. Do this.
MadCap has found creative ways to implement features, so I trust that they can figure out a way to do this!

Different Headings in PDF Bookmark vs TOC
I'm creating a PDF. I would like the Bookmarks panel to show all h1-h6 headings. However, I want the TOC at the beginning of the guide to only show h1-h2.
Is this possible?

Hi Navz,
If you're starting with a Flare template, the format of the autonumber is span.ChapAutoNum. Screen shot below.
If/When you become comfortable with the internal editor, you can make changes directly to the Stylesheet:

Hi Navz,
Welcome to the forums! To recap, these are the challenges you're facing:
The phrase "Chapter #" is added to your h1s.
You want autonumbering in PDF h1, but not HTML h1.
You can solve both issues in your Stylesheet.
Remove "Chapter"

Re: Duplicate footnote numbers per page - revisited
In the meantime, I am manually managing footnotes, since all of mine are table footnotes (which MadCap also doesn't automatically support), and often have repeated footnotes. I add the # and apply the superscript span. I then have a separate style for the footnote text, and I number the notes myself ...

I'm having the same issue as the first poster. I tried Mike's suggestion to set the bullet image as a background image for the li style. But then, what do you do with numbered lists? The custom bullets will still show up there.

Format auto-numbers as "01, 02, etc"
I am setting up auto-numbering for my chapter numbers. Is there a way to style the numbers as: "01, 02, etc"? When setting up auto-numbering, I see that there are options for roman numerals and letters, but no "01". I could add a "0" to the format text box, but that won't work once I get to 10.

Re: Changing the color and style of your autonumbered listnu
Hi,
I think I may be able to help. There are two selectors that define an auto-numbered item:
1. The selector that you say needs a number
2. The Span Class that defines the style of the number.
To fix this:
1. Open the CSS. (I'm using Simplified view.)
2. Open the properties for selector #1.
