I have a tri-pane project that is output as HTML5. When I right-click any node in the TOC / Contents and select Inspect , I can see the node is wrapped in a DIV.
<div>
<span class="label">

This page uses the non standard property “zoom” (Firefox)
I have many Flare projects created using the Tripane HTML5 template (I believe that is what I used). When I visit one of these sites created with Flare, Firefox browser console reports

Re: Unable to reach Confluence server
Thank you laurieschu for posting a reply. I'm sorry to hear you are having this issue, but I'm glad to know I'm not alone. Madcap and Atassian (Confluence) have both spent time with me looking at the issue but there has been no resolution yet. Madcap even set up a test Confluence environment for me ...

Re: Unable to reach Confluence server
Greetings. Did you find a solution to this problem? I've been using the Confluence integration / import for almost a year now without any problems. Today I get the "Unable to reach server" message exactly as you described. I generated a new API token but that does not help. I can get to the ...

Re: Flare deletes some files after re-importing from conflue
I heard back from the fine folks at Madcap support regarding the seemingly random file delete on re-import. The reply is "...the Confluence import is generally intended as a means to transfer content from Confluence into Flare to continue working in Flare. Reimporting repeatedly from Confluence will ...

Confluence to Flare import - doc hyperlinks lost on reimport
Greetings. I have a Confluence wiki site with approximately 900 topics organized within many folders and subfolders. I set up an import using Madcap Flare and to my amazement, the import process was able to resolve the majority of cross-topic hyperlinks. Confluence remains the set of master ...

Flare deletes some files after re-importing from confluence
Greetings. I have a large Confluence site and I have used the Flare importer to bring it into a Flare project. I am leaving the file links in place and I often re-import files because the development staff prefer using Confluence to edit documents. The re-import process works nicely with one ...

I like using xrefs because Flare will update the reference for me if the first H1 in the referenced topic changes.

Because you install HTML5 Help locally, I assume the URL is something like file:///C:/application/help/topic.html.

I have a side nav HTML project that I rebuilt today with Flare 2020. It displays fine within an iframe used within a support portal. What type of HTML output are you publishing? It's a long shot, but did you try clearing your browser's cache? If you manage the site, did you flush the site cache?

In that code, you are constructing an email. There are three parameters being provided: mailto (the email address you want the feedback sent to), Subject (for the Subject line), and Body (the content of the email). The subject and body can be anything you want. %20 represents a space. The sample ...

In the two troublesome Flare projects, have you verified the Target file is referencing the correct Favicon skin file? This would be on the Skin "tab" - there is a Skin in the General area and a Favicon in the Component Default Skins.

Dave Lee's solution worked for me using an HTML5 - Side Navigation skin (every Flare project I have has a Dave Lee solution in it).

No. I was using tripane and I apologize for missing the significance of the side navigation. Even worse, my proposed solution has stopped working for me in tripane and my attempts to find a solution in side nav have also failed. While I can get a script embedded and run it, it seems like something ...

Re: Side navigation: how to get dropdowns to open on page lo
Do you mean dropdowns created with <MadCap:dropDown> </MadCap:dropDown>? If yes, you can control the open/close default by applying style via script. However, it seems the drop-downs do not have unique IDs (maybe there is a way to assign them). So, to force all of the drop-down lists open for a ...

Control initial volume of embedded MP4 video
I have embedded MP4 videos into my topics for HTML output and it works wonderfully. The videos are published as part of the Flare project to Resources/Videos/.
