The performance of the computer running flare is OK! But if we type some content in flare, we can see how the letters came after and after. If we press the delete button on the keyboard, it takes a while til the letter is deleted. If we hold the delete button, it takes a while and than it jumps ...

A small thing, but I get annoyed telling Flare that I don't want to use English (US) every time I create a new project (which is often).

Also stuff like standard settings for items in a Flare TOC - e.g. having to set 'New Section' and five other things for every single topic is a pain.

well, I thought I understood the principle of auto-numbering but now I am getting frustrated.
I have a traditional numbering for H1... H4 in the syntax of
CH:Chapter {chapnum} for H1 to...
CH:{chapnum}.{n}.{n}.{n+} H4

I figured out that you can create a keyboard short for merging into previous lists as well. It's under File > Options > Keyboard Shortcuts > Unlisted Commands > Merge with Previous List. There's also one for Merge with Next List.

The MathCap:equation style is set to Arial, but the equation still displays as Times New Roman. I've tried \setmainfont and a few other things inside the Equation Editor, but nothing seems to change the font of the equation. Anyone know how to change the font to Arial?

Not sure if this is helpful info, but: I'm running Flare 12 (minus the update) on Windows 7 Pro and can scroll with a wireless Logitech mouse scroll wheel just fine in both the XML and Text Editors.

I've had problems with EMFs disappearing in my HTML output as well that are appearing just fine in my PDF output, so I'm curious if anyone else is having this problem. Mine are consistently gone from the HTML.

I can understand the point of your Flare consultant, because it is possible (and rather elegant) to JUST have list items <li>, which change format depending on where they are in a nested structure.
