Re: Syntax error with <video>
I've tried the Insert > Multimedia > HTML5 Movie method, but the display is unconstrained. How do I apply height and width attributes? It's presently extending over the edge of its container.

Syntax error with <video>
Why do I get a warning within the Text Editor for this code:
<video width="252" height="189" controls type="video/mp4">
<source src="video.mp4">
</video>
The warning says "Invalid syntax on or inside " tag located on line n", where n = the closing video tag.

Re: Border on an HTML 5 Top Nav Header
I can't find nav.tab-bar in any file. Inspecting the output reveals nav.title-bar, but I can't see how I can access that either.
I'm using 2017 R2 with the sticky header option.

Re: Unresponsive Responsive Layout
It turns out I should be in the XML Editor, not the Text Editor, which is where I normally work. Thanks, Tech Support.

Unresponsive Responsive Layout
I've created a Top Nav Advanced factory templated project out of the box and attempted to use the Responsive Layout to add a grid to the Home page. The Responsive Layout window was greyed out and I couldn't select a style. I then created a new topic and tried again. Still unresponsive. Anyone know ...

Re: Slide-in/Slide-out to fixed?
Dave, I've looked at the Foundation classes from Zurb, but when I applied this piece of sample code, it wasn't accepted by Flare. Does that mean not all the classes are included?

Re: Slide-in/Slide-out to fixed?
Thanks, Dave. I had a feeling it wasn't going to be easy. The tripane skin disables other features we're using, so I'll need to look at the two-column approach.

Slide-in/Slide-out to fixed?
I have a TopNav project using the Slide-out navigation menu on the left-hand side and the client wants this to become fixed. I can't find a setting to do this.
If it's not possible to have this remain in the Slide-in position, can it be deleted or suppressed?

BTW, I noticed that the topic toolbar disappears in mobile medium. Is that intentional?

Re: Moving to next topic without using the TOC
I'm using the latest (2017 r2). I'll check out the Previous and Next topic buttons. I must admit, I haven't taken any notice of the topic toolbar before. Presumably that's the line with the breadcrumbs and printer icon on it.
Thanks again, Nita.

Moving to next topic without using the TOC
To avoid returning to the TOC to go to the next topic, is it possible to link them in some way so that Previous/Next buttons could be used? The only solution I can come up with is to hard code the relative addresses into the topic page, which would be tedious and time-consuming because of the large ...

Re: New Edition: MadCap Flare Developer's Guide
I bought your book, Scott, as it was published in 2016. I found it well-written and useful. However, I found no mention of Top Nav, which I believe was available as a skin at the time. Was it covered and I've missed it?

It proved to be a change to the header background to white that rendered the hamburger invisible.

Re: Missing hamburger icon - SOLVED
I changed the header background to white. The menu-icon is white on transparent; hence it 'disappeared'.

Missing hamburger icon
The hamburger icon should appear when the screen isn't displaying the TOC menu line in Top Nav.
Mine has disappeared and I don't where to look to get it to come back. Anyone have any ideas?

Re: Missing Menu Line
It's not a bug. It's the fact that the hamburger icon which replaces the line has gone AWOL. I need to find out why.

Re: Missing Menu Line
Interesting. It seems to be related to screen magnification. Over 100% and the TOC line disappears. Same in both Google and IE.
Is this a bug?

Missing Menu Line
I have 8 projects all based on the same template which in turn is based on the Top Nav Basic template. Up until this morning they displayed perfectly.
My client asked me to make a couple of similar changes to the Home page of each one. The first one was fine, but the second and succeeding projects ...
