I'm a daily Flare user, and I've got a list of about 7 or 8 suggestions (bug fixes or enhancement suggestions) for things that would make my Flare-work-life easier. My guess is that at least some of these issues are plaguing other users as well.

Re: Applying styles within list elements
You can nest paragraph, tables, divs inside a list item. The simplest action is either to right-click the list item in which you want to nest a paragraph and select Make Paragraph Item(s) or, with the cursor in the list item, press Ctrl+; (semicolon).

Applying styles within list elements
Hi all,
When I create a new list and start typing inside the list item ( li ), there is no style at all. I wish it would default to the paragraph ( p ) style, but it doesn't. And for reasons I don't understand, when the cursor is inside this unstyled list item, the paragraph style is filtered out ...

Re: Flare UI scaling on large monitor
FIXED!
1. Right-click desktop > Screen resolution .
2. Click Make text and other items larger or smaller .
3. Select Medium - 125% (or Large - 150% ) > Apply .
4. Log out, log in.
Doesn't this defeat the purpose of having the extra screen real estate, though?

Re: Out of memory errors when building HTML5 Output
There is some truth to it. Of the 8GB RAM the OS takes a good chunk plus several other applications. Flare does not get access to all the memory in the system.

Alright, the response to that was:

I'm getting this too, with 2017 r2. Images seem to be fine in output, but the messages are troubling. Does anyone know what this message means?
Edit: I filed a bug with testcase; I will let everyone know what their response is.

How in the world do you debug this error? My PDF builds fine but my HTML5 OLH does not. The .mclog file, in its entirety , is:

div.note pre { margin-left: 20px; }

Re: Non-breaking spaces
Just a reminder - whenever you use a nonbreaking hyphen or space, be sure to generate all forms of output and verify that the content is found by a search as the user will type it . For example, I've found that using a nonbreaking hyphen for "-option" results in a PDF where searching for "-option ...

Well, what I'm taking away from this is that "it can't do that." I've written my scripting to make the relative path adjustments, but it would have been nice to have a cleaner solution.
Thanks all!

Hi,
why don't you use the same structure in Flares content that your original files have? If you want to change it later, Flare updates links in all source files.

It must have been something transient. Now it works, although as cdschroeder says, the TOC does not update until it's opened/closed (strange since changes to other files like CSS are detected and updated immediately). Previously, this same topic didn't update its TOC entry even after restarting ...
