I just upgrade to Flare 2017 and I was happy to see the new topic title/TOC synchronization feature!
What works - when I create a new topic and drag it into the TOC, the TOC entry is shown in blue and contains the H1 test.
What doesn't work - when I open that topic and modify the H1, the TOC does ...

Re: Build Webhelp/HTML5 output without search
There's about 3000 small support files that I want to exclude.
- With the support files present, build is 14mins 23s.
- With the support files present but conditionally excluded, 45 seconds.
- With the support files moved outside of the content directory, 7 seconds.

Re: prevent line breaks at hyphens
If the user types "-option3" into a search dialog box in their media viewer (PDF, HTML5, etc.), there will be no match because a hyphen does not match a nonbreaking hyphen.

Thank you! This was surprisingly difficult, I'm surprised it wasn't in the About dialog.
The registry method worked.

Re: Build Webhelp/HTML5 output without search
I'm trying to do the same thing. I just want a global setting to disable search for doing quick HTML5 previews of content and structure, then enabling it for final preview and production.
Please tell me there is an easy on/off switch for this thing!

Re: Table Header Styles are not being applied--very frustrat
Actually, I might have found a better solution. Originally, our tables were structured like this, using <th> for headers and <td> for data rows:
<table>
<tr><th>Header1</th><th>Header2</th></tr>
<tr><th>Header3</th><th>Header4</th></tr>
<tr><td>Data1</td><td>Data2</td></tr>
<tr><td>Data3</td ...
<table>
<tr><th>Header1</th><th>Header2</th></tr>
<tr><th>Header3</th><th>Header4</th></tr>
<tr><td>Data1</td><td>Data2</td></tr>
<tr><td>Data3</td ...

tr
{
page-break-inside: avoid;
}
th
{
page-break-after: avoid;
}
Did that work for you? page-break-after works for me on rows (tr), but not cells (th or td). Is this expected?
I can only prevent orphaned headers by creating a tr.header class, but that's not attractive to have to retrofit back ...

Re: prevent line breaks at hyphens
Resolved! Non-breaking hyphens fixed the issue. Thanks!
I write documentation for a software company. I also have issues with line breaks occurring at hyphens -- particularly, for the leading hyphens when describing options of commands. For example,
