Sounds like a nightmare... is the special build licence a floating licence? Or something cheaper that can only use madbuild.exe?
If it isn't a floating licence I'd ask for one of those as that isn't machine bound, it just looks to see if a machine is currently using it like a seat allocation.

Not natively in the skin file, but you could probably move them in the client with jQuery.

Usually this option can help:
However, if you still see the same results, I would recommend resizing them yourself to ensure that Flare uses their native resolution.

Not as far as I know. To Publish to Central you either need to do so within Flare or within Central itself. There is no option to tell Central to takes built files from an external source.

This might have been answered for you in Slack already, but if not you'd need to set on any heading that you don't want to see in the generated TOC

Blocked from editing because the Flare forums are a grumpy old man
Extra context:
This CSS selector would look something like and you'd need one of these for each icon you wish to insert.

Re: Including icons next to menu items on side navigation output
Hi Jeff,
This would be utilised using CSS and the ::before pseudo element to override the content property with your image files.
That should give you enough of a head start to find some reading material but let me know if you need any further help.

You might be able to use jQuery to automatically set the search filter?

Have you tried using your print media query in CSS to override the widths of your divs for just PDF output?

Are you resizing the images via inline or stylesheet styles or are they using their native resolution(s)?

Re: How to set table width to autofit to 100% in table stylesheet
More and more I've noticed that table stylesheets seem to cause problems. My only suggestion would be to try dissociating any current table styles from a test table and then ensure the topic is linked to a stylesheet with the table { width: 100%; } directive present.

It would be very beneficial if you could show a screenshot or even better, produce some example/anonymised content with the logo & breadcrumbs present, then someone could probably give you the exact CSS you'd need.

You can build multiple Flare projects in a TOC, so perhaps some combination of this and using External Resources for any images that need to be shared between topics?

Re: Merging multiple PDF targets with conditions into single HTML5
I'm having almost the exact same issue! It's quite annoying. I've been using flare for a while now, but almost exclusively for PDF output, and now that I am trying to build a knowledgebase, I'm running into the same issue of conditioning in some text and conditioning out other stuff for the same ...

Re: Artificial Intelligence for style guide compliance
In terms of ensuring topics abide by a specific tag structure, i.e. all <h2> must be followed by <p> with a specific class etc. then there is FlareLint which is exactly for that purpose - https://flarelint.github.io/

If I understand your dilemma correctly, I suggest that you utilise snippets as these allow you to apply conditions to them at a topic level to include/exclude content independently of the target.

Holding shift + right clicking on the font file should show the install for all users option. This shouldn't require any elevation/admin rights.

Hi, welcome to the Forums!
You could put these variables into a snippet, and include that snippet in every topic you need to, then set the values for those variables at snippet level within each topic.
Hope this helps!

Hi and welcome to the forums!
I personally think that Central is very restrictive with what it allows you to do in terms of source control, so if I was setting up your project, I would likely mirror a similar approach to what I use in my company, which would be a dual-bound project.

Re: Watermarks and images
I'm not sure Flare can build transparency into PDFs at all, though I could be wrong. My method uses text instead of an image though, so while the watermark does still obscure some content, it is not nearly as intrusive as floating a watermark image on top of the content.
