Re: Optimizing Image Quality - High DPI vs Standard DPI

Thanks so much for your reply. I come from a journalism background, so a lot of this stuff is completely unknown to me.

I have both monitors set to the default "Recommended" scaling and resolution (my laptop = 250% scaling and 3840 x 2160 res, and my large monitor = 100% scaling and 1920 x 1090 res ...

Optimizing Image Quality - High DPI vs Standard DPI

Hi guys,
Apologies if this is a dumb question, but I am wondering how I should go about taking my screenshots for web and print output.
My company provided me with a laptop that has high dpi (I've never worked in high dpi before) and a monitor that has standard dpi. I am finding it really annoying ...

Re: Way to add a border to the top nav menu when displayed

Thank you! I added the following to my CSS and it worked well:

ul.navigation ul.sub-menu {
border: 1px solid #0033a0;
padding-top: 0;
padding-bottom: 0
}

Without the padding, I was getting an odd transparent gap below single menu items.

Way to add a border to the top nav menu when displayed

Hello,

I was just wondering if someone can tell me how to add a border to the top nav menu? Not the menu items.

Currently, when I hover over a menu item, the menu opens with a white background. It would look better if it had some sort of outline around it. Please see image attached.

Thanks for ...

Re: Using Divs in the Home Page

Thank you, JRtechw. This seems to be more complicated than I thought it would be! Will do some research.

Using Divs in the Home Page

Hello,

I am trying to do something that is probably incredibly easy, but I am new to using divs, so forgive me!

I am using the top nav skin and trying to make my home page have an image on the left and a table of buttons (used to list the document types that will be accessible) on the right. I ...

Re: Unwanted change to top nav after editing styles

Thanks for your replies.

I took the easy route and increased the Main Page Maximum Width in the top nav skin, which worked like a charm. :)

Re: Unwanted change to top nav after editing styles

Unfortunately, I updated lots of styles. :( But I know I didn't update any divs. I did, however, update my body and p styles. Would this be the cause? I don't want to reduce the font size of my top nav menu items, so would prefer to figure out what I messed up. Also, due to further changes in my ...

Unwanted change to top nav after editing styles

Hello,

I spent some time yesterday updating my CSS to use em units. I've pretty much achieved the look I want. However, now when I click a top nav menu item and go to view any other page but the home page, my last top nav menu item is pushed below the others (creating two lines of menu options ...
