Chapter will not start on right-hand page - or does it?
I have a really strange problem. I use the same Architecture chapter in two different manuals, so I have created this as a separate Architecture TOC and insert the TOC it into the location I want in each manual TOC. I want all chapters to start on a Right page, so I use the Chapter Break, the same ...

Thank you much, but I don't think I fully understood, as it did not work...
The 'barcodes' in the path you suggest, that should be the folder where the images are, so something like ../path/to/images/
And your whole line is what I enter in the frame in the page layout?

Images as variable in page layout?
Hi!
I currently use just one front page for seven different PDF targets, using variables for the different name, manual types (user, administrator etc), doc numbers, etc. But now I need to add a bar code which is a gif image, and each manual has its own image. So I thought, add an image as a ...

So if a snippet is used in four different topics, I have to change them four times? I cannot just change it once in the snippet itself?

Variables in snippets
Why are my snippets using other variables that I have set for the target?

Re: Custom fonts do not display in PDF output
Thanks for all the tips and suggestions, I now have the correct IBM Plex Sans font on my front page. However, even though I styled this with a red underline, it does not have a red underline in my PDF output. Any suggestions?

Front page on right page
Hi all!
You know how a front page of a manual is always a right page? Then we have what I call a preface page with some version and copyright info on the first left, then the TOC starts on the next right page.

Re: PDF not using my page layout
I also have a situation with the pagelayout which is strange. For many of my files, I get the message (I have shortened the path)

PrintLayout.flpgl is indeed my default page, as set up in ...

Re: Flare 2023 r2
Yes, indeed. I did find out that this was the case. The change in file association usually happens automatically, but I changed it for the flprj extension. Let's hope that it now works for all fl extensions. Thanks!

Flare 2023 r2
Hi!
I just updated to Flare 2023 r2 and both the caption and the About dialog tell me I have 2021 r2. And I still get the dialog where it is asking me to update. Anyone else experience this?

Re: Online Help structure for modular products
I have looked at this again and again and I cannot get my head around it.
As far as I can see, the system described above is not for a context-sensitive help, rather for an online knowledge base like help. Is this correct, or have I misunderstood something? I cannot see how this is using multiple ...

Re: Get rid of the Copy button in code snippets
Thanks for the suggestion for doing it via CSS, great idea. Our previous tests showed that the code worked if you just copied it from the box without using the Copy button, so we will try and go ahead with this solutions.

Get rid of the Copy button in code snippets
Hi!
The Copy button in code snippets is giving us problems. If you use it, it messes up the spaces or tabs or whatever you use. But if you just copy the code from the box, it works fine. So we want to remove the Copy button from all our code snippets. Anyone have a suggestion for doing this in a ...

Re: Formatting paragraphs with conditions
Thanks for your input. I was thinking along those lines except the part about the REVIEW medium. I don't fully understand what a 'medium' is in the style sheet though of course I am aware of the non-print and print mediums and know how to select them for the output.
So I created the Review medium ...

Re: Code Snippet functionality ignoring indents for code bit
Hi!
I have just discovered this feature and wanted to use it instead of the the <pre> style. I thought I was doing something wrong until I saw your post.
I'm eager to hear about a fix before I convert loads of code samples to snippets that don't work.
Regards,
Vibeke

Re: Code Snippets
I can see what you mean about the indents. I am playing with an XML code, and the indents (tabs) display nicely in the Code Editor, but are not there when I click OK and close the Editor, nor do they display in the PDF or the online output. Also, the indents are still not there when you use the Copy ...

Thanks David. The topics are included in the PDF, just not in the miniTOC.

Hi guys, need help again!
