Re: What is Volume Number?
Sorry for late response, I had other fires to put out…
Right now, all my appendix topics just start with the H1 for the headers, and as I indent them in the TOC, the TOC does what it is supposed to do normally and adds the digit that is normally used for an indented level. If I didn't want the ...

What is Volume Number?
Hi all
Need you help again! In a TOC, you can select the Properties and decide how the TOC will look. I understand Chapter Number, and I think I know what Section Number is (as I used sections when I used to work with Word). But I have no clue what Volume Number is and how to use it, nor can I find ...

Re: Deliver compiled help in one file?
If I zip the folder with my online output, it contains all the html and png files. I understand that it does not contain all the pagelayouts etc. That is what I mean by my content. But you have answered my question, thanks.

Re: Deliver compiled help in one file?
Hi Nita
That's what I do at the moment too, but only to internal colleagues, because you when you zip this, you zip all your content. I don't really want to give external people access to all my files and images.

Deliver compiled help in one file?
Hello!
I am wondering whether it is possible to deliver a compiled HTML help with e.g. SideNav in just one file, just like we could with the old CHM file? So we can send the customer or user our compiled help but not give them all our html files and images etc. used as source. This would be a ...

Number of heading levels in SideNav
Hi guys, I need your expert help again.
We can probably agree that it is not a great idea to have too many levels in a TOC… But unfortunately, my help does have more than four levels. The SideNav menu window shows all my levels, expands them etc, but they are not indented after level 4. I want to ...

Hello good people!

Re: Adding images in SideNav menu
Thanks OzScott,
I actually got it to work using this code for the map icon:
.mapicon a::before {
content: "";
display: block;
background: url('../Images/AppIcons/SVG/maps.svg') no-repeat;
width: 20px;
height: 20px;
float: left;
margin: 0 6px 0 0;
}

Re: Adding images in SideNav menu
Hi Dave,
Thanks for the link. I did experiment with this and I can certainly use it for separators. I found it more challenging to use for the icons. However, I did find a solution somewhere else in this forum, the topic "Span tags in menu proxies".

I cannot find ul.MCGlossaryProxy_0 or anything like it anywhere. When I inspect the page in a browser, I can see that the li is used, but I cannot see where it is defined.

10086 Build failed: Could not find a part of the path
Hi!
I am having problem building DITA files. (I really want to build Framemaker files, but MadCap remove dthis option :( ). I can see that others have had variations of the 10086 error and I have tried their solutions like moving the output path to C. The funny thing is that I can produce both PDF ...

Hi!
I am having this problem now too. I can produce both PDF and Word content but when I try to produce DITA content with exactly the same files, I get this error. I tried the solution about moving the Output folder directly to C, this didn't work either. The message says it "could not find part of ...

Re: Custom ToC Icon HTML 5 skin
I am using the Side Navigation style and also want to edit my Toc Entry (to bold) but there is no Toc Entry item in the skin editor. Have MadCap removed it again in Flare 2019? Or has it never been there for Side Nav? I am not using the latest R2 version yet. Is there another way to style this Toc ...

Bold words in tables are floating above the line
Hi good people!
I use bold to refer to UI options. It looks pretty good everywhere except in tables in pdf. Here, the bold word are floating above the line (see attached image). I really don't know where to look to fix it. When I apply bold, I just select the word and use Ctrl+B which adds the <b ...
