Re: Exporting Alias file to an Excel/csv/tab-delimited text
I don't know if you're still working on this, but my (not so great) workaround has been to go to the directory, save a copy of the .flali file as a .xml file (just changing the file extension manually in the name), open the XML in Excel, and then save it as a .csv. It's not ideal, but it will work ...

Hmm, OK, I will try stripping everything out and adding them back into my stylesheet one by one. Thanks!

Re: Nav vs. Div in the Skin Stylesheet
Hi Dave,
Thanks for your response! :) It used to work for me - but since the <div> was replaced with a <nav> on the back end in Flare, it no longer scrolls separately from the page by default (with my imported skin stylesheet). The navigation pane scrolls right out of sight when you scroll the page ...

Nav vs. Div in the Skin Stylesheet
The latest Flare update changed some things on the back end that had the side effect of screwing up a bunch of my skin styling. I use a post-build command to import my own skin stylesheet. I have fixed most of the problems, but my side navigation pane still has a problem with scrolling out of sight ...

Same here - even though this post is a few years old, I just saw this error for the first time. Thanks a lot for the solution!

Re: How to override/change Styles.css
Hi all,
I know this is an old thread, but I thought I would add some info about a post-build command that I created to import my own skin styles into my side-nav HTML5 output.

Re: Display Existing PDF in a PDF Output??
This thread is a few years old, but I'm having the same problem as ChoccieMuffin - I love that I can include my PDF cover page in the Flare TOC, but I don't want it to show up in my printed TOC. Since it doesn't have a heading or field that I can see where the mc-heading-level property is set, I'm ...

Awesome! I hope MC adds more options for search, but in the meantime, I like the local search bars you added. Thanks for sharing!

Re: Exclude condition on drop-down text is breaking my build
Dave, this is a lifesaver!! I have been trying to add conditional text to a ton of content at once, but applying the condition seems to only add the tag to certain parts of the Dropdowns within my highlighted content. (Possibly a bug??)
I was afraid I was going to have to manually condition the ...

Re: Add title to Thumbnail Image popup?
Perfect!! I just adjusted the size and position to my needs. Thank you so much!
Here are my resulting styles, if it's helpful for anybody else. This creates an overlay block that's 100% of the width of the expanded thumbnail and 20% of the height (positioned at the top). My "close" graphic is ...

Re: Thumbnail Images Using CHM
I realize this post was a couple of years ago, but I have struggled with this as well. MadCap Flare's tech support team has told me that the best way to deal with this was to resize the full-size images to be the expanded size I wanted, but this is a lot of manual work. Has anybody found a workaround?

Aligning slideshows in page?
Hi everyone,
I'm new to Flare, so please forgive me if there's an obvious answer to this question. I am using Flare's Slideshow feature to lay out some tutorials in my HTML5 output so that users can click through to see previous/next steps.
