Re: Appendixes have numbers, not letters

Hi, Nita.

I understand you to be referring to the TOC Editor.

For my Appendix B in the TOC Editor, when I double-click it, I see these things:

--- Printed output tab: Chapter Break is selected. For what it's worth, Page number is set to Increment number.

--- Auto-numbers tab: Format is set to ...

Appendixes have numbers, not letters

Hello, all.

In my PDF output, my Appendix A appears correctly, but Appendixes B and C both appear as Appendix 01.

For our Appendix A heading style, there is a corresponding TOC style, with the mc-auto-number-format of {a}
For our Appendix B+ heading style, there is no corresponding TOC style.

Is ...

Re: How to Format TOC for PDF Output

Hi, Nita. Thanks for your reply. I've been out most of the week or would have gotten back sooner.

I don't see where to apply the styles. My TOC file is an. htm file containing the proxy, which of course is a single line of text.

I don't see a TOC output until I view the PDF, in which the TOC is ...

How to Format TOC for PDF Output

Hi, all.

I've successfully generated a TOC that is correctly positioned in my PDF output. However, while the rest of my PDF output uses the Calibri font, style, point size, color, and so on that I have specified, the TOC output is in Times New Roman, which I assume is the default font.

I've been ...

Re: Packaging only those files used in a project

I did mean the entire project, not individual targets. Thanks for the information -- it worked!

Re: TOC prints on cover page

Thank you, Nita. Your link gave me the guidance I needed. I'd been reading in the 183-page PDF devoted to tables of contents, an avalanche of information, and hadn't found the right pathway. You provided it.

TOC prints on cover page

Hi, all.

My TOC is being printed on the cover page, instead of after the cover page. I've searched and see some hints about assigning a Title page type to my cover page .htm file, but I haven't found a way to do it. Is that the correct solution and if so how do I do it? In any case, how do you get ...

Packaging only those files used in a project

Hi, all.

I am accustomed to the FrameMaker packaging function that handily packages only those files that are active in a project. This means that by packaging a project and opening the project in a new directory, you can create a clean assemblage of only the files you are currently using. All ...

Table Styles Mystery

Hello.

My company is moving from FrameMaker to Flare and Flare is new to me. I am watching the online videos, but in the meantime I need to produce actual work despite not knowing Flare well. Currently, I am mystified about this table behavior:

When I put the cursor in one row of a table, I see ...
