I also get this from time to time. Tend to restart Flare as a workaround.

Did you ever figure this out?
I'm also asked for Git credentials, which I don't have (they certainly don't match my regular Central login credentials).

Conflicts not detected after Central review
I've a branch, branchA.
I send topicA from branchA to Central for review.
Changes are then made to branchA->topicA in Central.
Meanwhile, changes are also made to branchA->topicA in Flare.

Re: Merging branches taking a long time
About 20 minutes in, wish I'd searched for this thread beforehand.
Though, it's merging from Central so it seems I have no alternative VC option other than to wait.
EDIT: have abandoned ship. Been trying via Visual Studio Code source control instead, different problems... (SSL certificate).

Re: Template Customization - Homepage Tiles
You need to made changes in the CSS, namely adding a new tile class based on the existing tile class, but with the desired width.
It can get tricky, especially taking responsive output into account.

What happens if you add a duplicate entry in the TOC for e.g. Getting Started?
Do you get three or four subsections in the output?

Re: Body class being ignored in HTML5 output
Having the same problem as OP.
I've defined body, body.A and body.B in the stylesheet.
<body class="A"> is respected in the Flare editor, as is <body class="B">.
However, the HTML output reverts to <body>.
Any ideas? Really don't want to go the route of multiple master pages.

Is there a way to show tracked changes in HTML output? New content I've added to a topic does not appear in the output.
There's no 'Preserve tracked changes' option in the Advanced tab for HTML targets like for PDF targets.

I am doing the exact same thing, one project with a parent landing page that has no skin that links to child pages in another project with a skin.
My question is how to add a link from the logo in the child page skin back to the parent landing page? I only seem to be able to add a Logo URL to a ...

I don't think so.
As a workaround you could press Ctrl-S instead of clicking the icon.

Might be that the existing titles have a custom label.
Open the existing and new topics using TOC item->Properties and see if the Appearance->Label is different.

Re: Force breadcrumbs to load before topic content?
It may also help to have some text before the breadcrumbs (e.g. You are here: ). This will load in first and take up that line, so the rest of the breadcrumbs shouldn't cause distortion when they load in unless they're really long.

Force breadcrumbs to load before topic content?
Is there a way to make the topic breadcrumbs load before the content?
Currently, the topic content loads first, then the breadcrumbs are added above. This pushes the already loaded content downwards, which creates a jerky effect on page load.

Maybe you can do this in Madcap Capture?
If not, I doubt there's an elegant way to do this in Flare. Might need a 3rd-party tool that can run in batch mode across all your images for each release.

Similar to how pressing the Expand/Collapse button in the toolbar expands and collapses all dropdowns in a topic, has anyone implemented a way to expand/collapse all thumbnail images in a topic?
All expanded images would appear in-line, not as popups.
Ideas?

MadCap AMS has disappeared from the Madcap website. Well, you can still access some info through a Google search, but all references to AMS are gone from the landing page, links, pricing, etc. pages.
