Just to make sure it's clear to everyone what's happening, you're not changing the TD into a P tag. Instead, you are nesting one or more P tags inside the TD tag. That's why you couldn't change the TD tag directly (the TD tag must be there in order for it to be a proper table cell).

Are you going to need to have different conditions available simultaneously? (i.e. within the same image do you need one link to be conditioned for A and a different link conditioned for B?) You could do it as an image map (i.e. one image with hotspots defined in Flare) or you could use an image editing program to create slices that are placed into a table. Either method will work, although the first is easier.

Do you mean the table itself, or the text within it?

For the table itself relative to the page, I believe that is actually controlled by the Table tag in the main stylesheet (not the table stylesheet).

I think what you are looking for is Build>Clean Project. This deletes all temporary build files.

Ok, Flare is a help authoring tool, not a delivery tool. You might be able to author the content for what you want in Flare, but Flare is definitely not the application I would have the user run if they need to access assistance.

Flare is a direct competitor to Robohelp, if that makes it clearer.

To me, ultimately, it's the execution that matters. I don't mind the ribbon as a metaphor, but what I do mind is a) you can't customize it and b) M$ hasn't always put the tools you need in logical places (e.g. why isn't it possible to insert a TOC from the Insert tab of the ribbon? Have you tried copying the table into a new Word doc and using Flare's Word import feature? That's be what I would try first.

Same frame is the default behaviour, so specifying it is optional.

Flare doesn't use javascript to create popups--it puts that information into the target of the hyperlink. If you check the properties of the link, you'll see a dropdown that lets you change what the target will be (popup, new window, etc.)
