Re: How to put a table inside a div
I don't have any problem using a blockquote with tables and also made some classes from it to use different indentations.
It works only good if you first select the blockquote and then create your table.

Where is my cursor in a div class?
Quite a while I have the following problem in the XML Editor. However, it is irritating me more and more.
A while ago I have created a div class named: div._keep .
This div keeps paragraphs together.
However, when I scroll up or down in such a topic I loose the focus.

At my company we are momentary also considering to use the MadCap Lingo.

Re: Auto-convert-to-text of snippets
Hi lisa,
Regarding #2, if I recall correctly (I don't have Flare open to test), if you put the cursor in a new paragraph and insert a single space then insert the snippet, it might insert it automatically as text and not a snippet block. If that still works, then that would be easier than ...

Re: Auto-convert-to-text of snippets
Hi Inge,
I use snippets and variables a lot and it is irritating to Convert them to text every time.
If you don't Convert to text the snippet acts more or less as variable and you could say "Why not use a variable then?".
The reason is that the variable does not have its own style, cannot contain a ...

Re: Breadcrumbs/Topic Titles that don't update
Today I ran into the same problem and read these posts.
Rob also mentioned that in the TOC properties, on the Advanced tab, you can set your breadcrumbs to match your TOC. Upon investigation, this is done per TOC item. So, to do it for the entire help system, you would want to select all the items ...

Re: How do I repeat a footnote?
I also tried some possibilities, but nothing is working.
So, I have submitted a request too. Hopefully it will be implemented in the near future.
For the moment, where I need it on the same page I go around by entering the number as text in the same format as the footnote.

You are right. In fact it should be in the Simplified view too.
In the Advanced view you can set it in the Unclassified section! and that works ok.

Re: Flare and GIT
Thanks Graham,
I was afread so.
Some weeks ago my reseller had a meeting with MadCap and I asked him to drop this question of GIT. Like if there was experience or so.
The answer was that it should go in principle, but they had no experience.
And indeed, the market is too small to get it going soon ...

Hi Graham,
Thanks,
Did you ever get anywhere with Git in Flare?
So far I didn't get any further.
And ... at this moment the issue is a little bit delayed, due to the fact that I am very busy.
But I am glad to read that the issue is going on at your place.
I will be very keen on your progress ...

Re: Startup WebHelp in a new window
Thanks Dave,
I realize that more information is needed. I looked up where the link is made.
It is a Ruby on the rails file, in this case: info.rb
One of the lines links to the help and there is my problem:
def help_url; 'http://iln-egroupware/redmine-webhelp/redmine.htm' end

Thanks Dave,
I was aware of that, but the thing is that is an URL.
Look in http://demo.redmine.org/ and you see the Help button of Redmine. That's a URL which we direct to our WebHelp.
Maybe you know another trick?

Re: Resizing images and image maps
I don't know if you did but you can set the Width or Height to Automatic.
So, if you set one of the 2 and the other one is set to Automatic the image will scale automatically.
Anyway, I don't have problems with this issue.
