I put this item into the forum before and it is reported to MadCap.
Right now you have to live with it; that is, remove it using adobe acrobat or create a PDF from a Word output.

First of all I learned it from the sample book as I said before.
You have to ask yourself questions looking at the TOC, like:
If I create a book there, where ...

I do agree with this tip too, but ..... be aware that the quality of images reduce. Certain type of images will be worse than other types. My advice is to use PNG type images as much as possible.

But ... what you describe is exactly what global linking should do.
You should make up your mind about what should be put in the Global project and become available for all members, and what should be used local; that is, not linked.

I have had a quick response from the support department. They have logged it in their development database.
Also I have pointed to the long building time of the PDF output. At my place it takes more then 10 minutes!

If you look at most of the PDFs from Madcap (see the left side of the footer on every Help topic), you will see that most of them show the same thing in PDF Bookmarks.

When I build a PDF Output, all bookmarks created in Flare are displayed in the left pane at the end of the left pane: Does anyone know if I missed a setting somewhere or is it just a bug?

Also it takes a lot of time to build the PDF output: 10 - 20 minutes!

Maybe you can use <t> to show the tags or open the topic with the Internal Text Editor and check if you can find the links and remove it?
