Flare Import File
Hi,
Maybe stupid, but does any one know how to create a flare import file (.flimpfl) to be used for global import files.

Thanks Brice,
I am still busy with it now.

Re: How to apply shading to a table cell?
Hi Carl,
I use it often and have no problems.
Therefore a stupid question, but ..... if you insert your table (which you created with your table style) did you set the "number of heading rows" in the tab Basic?
That's what happened to me one time.

Lisa,
You are correct, but I am a layman ( :D !). What I read in the Help:

Re: TABLE STYLES
After you have set up your table stylesheet, you might use the menu Format --> Cell(s) or Ctrl+Alt+B.
Then you can align you 1st line and 2nd line separately.
After doing this you can also create a snippet.
If you then need it, take the snippet, click on it and select convert to text. Ready.

I used the Make Paragraph Item:

And ... if you just create the table without any changes, it will be looking good in the WebHelp, but not in the printed documentation.

Re: Capture a Tooltip?
Lately someone of the forum drawed attention to SnagIt. I tried it and use it. I like that tool now very much.
One very positive feature:
You can capture the tooltip or a menu list, etc. SnagIt uses a delay and just picks up what you want. See http://www.snagIT9.com.

Re: Chaps i think there's a need for a Really Good Flare book
Thank you!
That is a sound I like.
Reading the subjects in the current guides is one thing, but how to use it in practice and what you can do (tips and tricks) is another thing.
Maybe it is a good idea to write this book based on version 4 when all good stuff from Blaze is implemented.

Re: BlogPost about Content Reuse in Flare, from MVP Doc_Guy
Thanks a lot for your great article Doc_Guy.
I have a tip, but maybe you are aware of it.
Talking about Conditions, I have also added 2 conditions, named Ready and Indexed.
I only use these with topics and books. It is my way to have an overview of the topics to be indexed and finished.
