When you choose (Headings) for the menu proxy, Flare inserts the bit mc-linked-toc="$topicHeadings".

Personally, I wouldn't ever choose to use values because they're not readable. Identifiers are readable, which makes a big difference whenever you have to deal with them. For example, it's way easier to check what topic the identifier "companyname_appname_com_bookmark" should link to, than it is to ...

You might have to choose between removing everything, or living with it.

As mentioned, you can easily remove the 'Options' menu altogether.

As for the context menu, I'm not sure how to customise the options, but I'm fairly sure you should be able to hide the menu, as you can do that on web pages ...

You could set the background image by setting the CSS class on the html tag instead.
For example, set class "imageA" in topic Properties > Topic Style class (or whichever way you prefer), and in your CSS have:
