Ok, you will need Context Sensitive Help. See the link above for the madcap help information, or you can search the forums for Context Sensitive Help (CSH).

Re: Creating Anchor Tags/Linking to specific places in documents

Let me be more specific - we are wanting users to be able to click a link to pull up a specific page within the WebHelp interface.
Do you want Context Sensitive Help (click a link outside the webhelp to get to a page in the webhelp), or a regular hyperlink (link from one page to another)?

Re: Creating the footer section found on the Flare online help

In your MasterPage, you would insert a table under your body proxy and put anything there you want to be included in every topic.

here's some information about footer table sizes -

I'm not sure what anchor tags are, but you can use bookmarks to link to specific places in your files. here is the flare help topic about bookmarks - http://webhelp.madcapsoftware.com/flare ... Topics.htm

Re: Fonts not Listed

I don't have this problem, but i also don't use the font selector for inline changes. i only select a font in the CSS, which is best practice for using CSS.
someone else may be able to tell you in reinstalling Flare will fix the font problem.

Re: Spacing btw top page margin and image varies page to page

do you have scroll bars displaying on some of the pages and not others? that will affect the display of your topic and margins. i don't know if that would give 3 different positions for the image, though.
have you tried adding the image to the masterpage instead of as a body>background image?

Re: Missing FrameMaker styles during import wizard

When I imported FrameMaker docs into Flare, i only mapped the high level (h1, h2, etc) styles and manually formatted everything else. i also had a lot of miscellaneous styles in FM, but i don't remember enough about FM to fix them/add them to the stylesheet. i had to read through everything to edit ...

Re: Bulleted Lists inside Table Cells

Most likely, the formatting applied in your CSS to ul or li are adding the weird margins. however, if you adjust the default ul/li styles, it will apply to every list in your project. you are better off making a class for the li with the appropriate margins and applying that to the text in your ...

Make sure your changing the correct medium (default vs online vs print) in your stylesheet, and make sure your target is linked to that medium.

if you want to adjust the glossary pane, you'd have to do it in the skin, but i don't think adding letter separators is an option. maybe you could just make ...

Re: Prevent wrapping on underscore in tables

Is your table big enough to the fit the whole group of words (with underscores)? maybe you just don't have enough space to fit it all, or maybe you should look at your table margins/borders and see if they are taking away space from the inside of your tables where the words would fit.

Re: Keep Master TOC displayed?

i have never heard of this type of problem before. does it happen if you create another TOC and make that the primary TOC? maybe there is something corrupt in your TOC. you'll probably have to work directly with MadCap Support to see if your TOC is corrupt (or just make a new TOC if that works).
