Re: Flare 7 Snippets not viewable in html file
i don't think the snippet will show because it is not directly in the html file (it is linked to the snippet file). snippets join the html only during the build process.
if you convert the snippet to text (right-click on the bar on the left side of the editor), it will no longer be linked to the ...

Re: Spaces inserted in middle of words in PDF
Push for a widescreen. A single widescreen gives you more real estate to do side-by-side screens, short of having a two monitor setup. Two widescreen monitors are definitely the best scenario, especially if you're like me and you prefer to cut-and-paste from Word to Flare, for example, instead of ...

Can you just make a new project and import/link to the original stylesheet and snippets? or, can you select the (default) option?

Re: How to insert a paragraph tag in a header tag?
I worked through something like this a for lining up my paragraph numbers (but you could use it for heading numbers i think) on the left and putting the text all lined up next to it (not under the number). see these topics:

it looks like you can do this in search by using filters - http://webhelp.madcapsoftware.com/flare ... |filtering
the flare help has filters associated with it. i don't think you can filter a TOC though.

Re: Webhelp: PDFs causing topics to load in TOC pane
It is possible to set TOC entries (to PDFs) with target="_blank", which would open it in a new window. maybe this would help.
here is the flare help for this - http://webhelp.madcapsoftware.com/flare7/Content/TOCs/More_About_Tables_of_Contents/Specifying_the_Browser_Frame_for_a_TOC_Entry.htm ...

It is not uncommon for Word to add extra tags to text, as you saw in your import. that is why we suggest cleaning up word docs before importing too.

You are supposed to use the toolbar buttons, and then modify the ol, ul, and li styles in the stylesheet. and when you edit this part of the stylesheet, make sure the medium is correct and it matches the medium you are trying to view in the topic editor. how were you formatting it?
