Re: Capture an Individual Button
With Capture open, if you press Ctrl+Shift+R (capture region), you will get a "cross-hairs" selection box to drag around the button you want to capture. (search for Capturing a Region in the Capture help)

Re: I've never been so frustrated with buggy software like this
If you have XP (I'm a little confused by all the different OS you were talking about), to check for .NET, click Start > Control Panel, then Add or Remove Programs. On that list, you should see Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 and possibly Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 (since your computer is new). My ...

Right-click on the picture and select Edit Picture. Then change/browse for the file name.ccardimon wrote:How would I get into the code to do that? Right now I have to hover over the image to see where the link is pointing to.

Re: How to import one Flare project into another
Open up the folders for the project in Windows Explorer (not in Flare) and just select the ones you want to copy, do ctrl+c (or Edit > Copy), and the ctrl+v (edit > paste) in the "new" folder.

Re: How to import one Flare project into another
Can't you just copy the files from one project into the other (in Windows Explorer)? Just take any files you want (topics, TOCs, etc) and make sure you put them in the right place (like a TOC file should go in Project>TOCs).

Sorry. I think I read your post wrong.
I don't export to FrameMaker, so I'm not sure what the problem is.
Good luck!

Re: list styles appearing in the paragraph style dropdown list
if you click F12, the Style list will open in a window on the side of your screen (so you won't need to use the drop-down list). that way, your paragraph styles will be visible most of the time, and will automatically change to list styles when you're using lists.

Re: Receive Error: 'Style' is null or not an object
I notice another error on the site you posted - the Loading image on the Index tab doesn't load all the way (which I think is another javascript error). I had something like this and I just had to re-generate my project and it somehow fixed itself.

Re: tables: how to convert text to a table
I don't think it's possible, but you can import Word documents into Flare and keep the text in a table.
I think I may have submitted a feature request for copy/pasting tables and text-to-table formatting a while ago, but it doesn't hurt for someone else to do the same.

Re: Conditioned Topics Showing Up In The Search Results
When you are applying topic-level conditions, are you doing it in the Content Explorer or the TOC? TOC conditions don't really remove the topics from the output.

I don't think "web-safe" colors are an issue anymore, so I wouldn't worry about it (unless specific colors are very important to you).

Re: Can You Add New Frames To Skins?
I know you can make the Accordion frame display on the bottom (Skins, WebHelp Setup Tab) and you can add a Footer to the content of your pages with a Master Page, but I'm not sure if you can add another frame (without post-processing tweaking).
What are you trying to accomplish?

When you created the new topic, did you choose the template on this screen?
In my MyTemplates folder on my C: drive, QNewTopic.htm is the only file in there (that I created and put there).

Re: One style sheetsheet to rule them all
So you got it? You probably had a stylesheet with that name already in your project. One of them just has to be renamed because you can't have two files with the same name.
