That is exactly what is supposed to happen. Did you try it out and the result was different?

Re: Can You Format TOC Entries?
There was a discussion a few months ago about changing icons - you can also change the font weight, colour, size etc. Have a look at:
http://forums.madcapsoftware.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=9241
and ignore the bits about the icon.

Can You Format TOC Entries?
One of our product managers has asked if there's a way that we could "bold" those items in our ToC that are "chapter headings".
For example, he'd like to see the ToC entries I've highlighted in red...

TIP: Use Multiple Feedback Explorer Windows
This may already be obvious to everyone else but it wasn't to me so I thought I'd pass this on as a lesson learned.

Table Formatting Over-riding Stylesheet
Please let me know if this has been addressed in another thread.
I'm having an issue wherein Flare seems to apply "local formatting" to my tables that over-rides the table stylesheet.
Here's my problem...

Not sure if this is a good idea or not but I'm certain someone will express their views on the merits of this idea. :)

Re: HTM vs. HTML???
If it is the output files that need to have .html extensions, you can control that in the target. You don't need to change the source files to .html, though you can.

Re: HTM vs. HTML???
I think you're right, Lisa, but in this case, my beef is with Flare's error message and not the O/S.
I don't think Windoze is the issue here based on this...
My question is... shouldn't Flare be able to distinguish that .HTML is a valid file extension for topic files?

HTM vs. HTML???
Our MIS department (who are the ones in charge of the web server that hosts our WebHelp) has asked that our topic files use the .HTML file extension instead of just .HTM.
No problem, I thought, as I couldn't see why Flare wouldn't support the .HTML file extension.

Navigation Aids With Multiple Sets Of Expanding Text
We use expanding text in a number of places and have even used it several times within one help topic as a way of "saving space".
A request has come in from our UI designers for help topics that have multiple "sets" of expanding text. Namely, can we "...add an “Expand All†and a “Collapse ...

I'm curious about that myself, Andrew.
Especially since I'm discovering a problem that might be related to this and, if so, is rather disconcerting.
Namely, if you "publish" multiple PDF files to the same destination... the existence of the .mcbook file and other files can prevent the file ...

I also don't do translations, but if you aren't aware of Lingo, you should know that it was designed specifically to address the translation of a Flare project. You open the Flare project in Lingo, and the translators do all their work and they send back a new, localized project.

Re: Localization Question Regarding Folder Renaming
I don't have to translate my content (thankfully), but I believe the project settings can have a part in this. For instance, I don't think you can just open the Spanish project and build the output without also setting Flare to use Spanish. The language setting on the computer might have an effect ...
