Just thought I'd post the solution on here in case it can help someone else avoid my misstep.
Thanks to Richard Ferrell for spotting this as it turned out that my problem was in my style sheet.
I had created a sub-class of the basic paragraph style which I called NCentralFooter. Somehow, I had ...

Problem With Master Page "footer" Cutting Off
Back in "the day" when we were using Flare 3.1, I set up a Master Page with a "footer" of sorts that contained the typical copyright blurb that our Marketing department wants on the bottom of every help topic.
Generating WebHelp from 3.1 worked nicely with this but ever since we upgraded to 4.0, I ...

Thank ye, Margaret.
Interesting guesses in that other thread... I still liked the beer bottles left in the fridge suggestion myself.

Hey, What Does This Thingie Do?
I dunno if it's just me but I just spotted a button in the Standard toolbar and... I have absolutely no clue as to what it does.
It's at the far right of the toolbar, to the right of the "Open The Primary Target File" button.
It has no tooltip and in faint text, displays "0:0[0:188]" (without the ...

I was trying to come up with some sort of joke to use the name FLAZE but... it just wasn't happening.

Re: Conditioned Topics Showing Up In The Search Results
Are you tagging in the TOC or the Content Explorer? Your search results will show topics if they are only tagged in your Table of contents.

Conditioned Topics Showing Up In The Search Results
I'm wondering if our Flare project isn't configured correctly?
Our single help project is conditioned to produce three different variants. For ease of explanation, I'll simply call them Variant A, Variant B, and Variant C.
Some of the conditioning is at the paragraph level or within sentences so ...

Can You Add New Frames To Skins?
Specifically, I'm looking to add a "footer"-style frame that runs across the bottom of the window.
Are the skins limited to just toolbar/TOC-Accordion/content so that a new fram is this something I'd have to tweak post-generation?
Thanks in advance,

Re: Extraneous Code
Thanks for the response, Paul.
I realized that it wasn't harmful code but it did strike me as somewhat wasteful. While it may only be a few characters that don't end up causing any problems, one of the selling points of Flare over RoboHELP was that it was much \"cleaner\" in the way that it handled ...

I removed conditioning from a bulleted list and noticed the following in the HTML code:
Is it me or is that unnecessary?

Re: Would The Ctrl-Y - Repeat Feature Be Useful In Flare?
Thanks the responses, folks, an interesting conversation.
Btw, I don't think that Ctrl-Y is limited to just applying styles as you can use it for just about any repetitive task. Yes, I know about snippets and all that but there are times when you're doing something over and over in a topic where a ...

Would The Ctrl-Y - Repeat Feature Be Useful In Flare?
Not sure if I should submit this as a feature request yet as I don't know if this is just my laziness speaking or if this would actually be useful or not.
I think it's just an MS-Office feature but after formatting stuff, pressing Ctrl-Y allows you to repeat the same formatting on a different block ...
