The results pane can be found under the menu option: Edit > Find and Replace > and the results 1 and 2 are at the bottom of the list.

Re: Fixing Compilation Errors
First up, the "... topic excluded..." messages are really warnings, not errors, so you can ignore them and your project will work if you have purposely excluded the information.
But if there are too many errors it can be annoying. How many targets do you need? There are a few choices.

Re: How to specify which heading levels are included in Word TOC
You can use it to assign a heading level, but I have to admit I have not tried that in a real project. I think the idea is you can set your H1 to be like a section heading, then you would set H2 to have level 1 and so on down the list. Anything with level 1 is listed in the TOC as para style TOC 1 ...

You can set the "mc-heading-level" in the style sheet to 0 for those styles that you don't want to be included in the output TOC.

Re: Running H/F without chapter number?
When Flare generates headings with auto-numbering into Word, it actually hard codes the number, which is a pity. This means that the whole line including the number is picked up in the running header.

Re: Context sensitive Help: Alias.xml file empty
If you have "phantom" alias entries, you can remove them manually.
Open the alias file in a text editor.
Find the line with a phantom entry.
Delete the line - you need to take out the whole "map" entry fro "<MAP name..." up to the closing " />"

Re: Missing chapters
What version of Flare are you using? For the CSS issue, there was a problem in v3.1 with CHMs and stylesheets that caused the default sheet to be attached for projects that had worked in earlier versions. You need to apply the patch and clear the checkbox on the Target Advanced tab.

Re: Extra Pages in Printed HTML Topic
Also have a look at the options on the "Printed Output" tab of your target. Is "Inject headings for unlinked books" set? If it is, clear it and try again. This option is really only useful when used in conjunction with the setting to use the TOC depth to create heading levels.

Re: Header margins vs. body margins
How are your headers and footers set up, as paragraphs or tables? The default print master page puts them into tables, which is harder to move in Word margins. I've created a paragraph class (p.header - you might need left and right) and made the margin-left property a negative number (-2cm in my ...

Re: Is a simple TAB and Indent available?
What RH does is put in an inline style with a left margin value - for example:
<p style="margin-left: 40px;">abc</p>
This translates as-is into Flare when you import. When you press tab in Flare the first option is to insert a blockquote, which is probably cleaner html.

I think Kevin commented on this in another thread. Yes, when importing from RH, the images stay in the same place they were in RH. An images folder in Resources is only created when you import from Word, but you can create this manually. I don't see this as a problem, and no, you did nothing wrong ...

You can do this automatically. You can add a file to an existing project using "Import > Add Word document..." instead of creating a whole new project.

I can chime in but not be very helpful. We imported many RH version X5 projects into Flare, with hundreds of tables, with no major problems. (our column widths were 20/80%, not 30/70 :-))
I had a quick look at the code - the RH topics had the column measurements at the table level AND in each <td ...

Re: NewWindow error in CHM output
For reference, it has something to do with the scripts RH used to do pop-ups, and how "windows" in RH are converted to skins in Flare. Removing the reference to the script from the code solved the problem for us - has the same affect as copy/paste to a new topic.
