Hi Dave
Thanks for your reply. As you, I have noticed that compile time does depend on what else you are doing on the PC (CPU usage).
I have understood that the GDI option does not affect compilation time but I was not able to find it in View | Show ( :? ). I am using Flare v4 (and not v4.1) to ...

Re: Hiding the webhelp toolbar on one page
Hi there
Yes, there is. In your Skin, go to HTML Help Setup and uncheck the Display toolbar in each topic option in the Misc Options section. Your HTML Help file will not have the WebHelp toolbar displayed in any of its topics.
Hope this helps.

Re: How to improve compilation time in Flare v4

How to improve compilation time in Flare v4
Hello everyone
I have read a few topics on how to improve compilation time on Flare v4 and have been doing some testing on one of my projects.

Re: Basic question about popup window size
Hi Lisa
Thank you for your post.
I mainly test on IE7. Given what you have explained, I think I am going to have 2 or 3 different classes for popup windows as I have as many very different sorts of content so I can optimise mc-popup-width and mc-popup-height for each.
Thanks again

Just to thank you for your tip.
I added your script to our javascript and it works fine. No more popups with a WebHelp toolbar!

Re: unordered lists : bullet settings
Hi Lisa and i-tietz
Just to let you know that I have tried different things and that the empty space above the bullet image seems to do the trick
.
However, I do not seem to be able to vary the space between the bullet and the text (marker-offset does not seem to do anything).
Thanks,

Re: unordered lists : bullet settings
Hi Lisa
Thought about what you suggested but I am using relative font sizes.
I will produce different sizes for my bullet images and see if one particular one works better than the others.
Thank you.

Re: unordered lists : bullet settings
Hi Steve
Thank you for your reply.
Yes, I have tried setting the vertical align property to baseline, bottom or text-bottom without success.
My custom bullets are small (8x8 px) and each bullet is aligned on the right-bottom corner of the image.
I will try a few other things...

Hello everyone
I am setting up unordered lists and find that the bullets (I am using custom images for these) are always a bit higher than the text. Is there a setting in the Stylesheet that would align the bullet images with the text?

Dock Project Organizer & Content Explorer
Morning!
A bit of a silly quesiton today....
I have been playing with Flare 4 to assess it (currently working on Flare 3.1) and I cannot find how to dock both the Project Organizer and the Content Explorer to the left pane (50%-50%). I did not notice that the AutoSave Window Layout option ...

Re: Alternative to Concept Links for HTML help
Hi Pete
Thanks for your valuable contribution. So do most link types in a HTML Help File use the same HTML ActiveX control?
It is just that I thought it would not happen that often and the three of us (in my team) got this issue so I am a bit worried when these files "hit" our customers.

Hi Pete
Thanks again for your valuable help and for directing me towards Keytools (great tool!).
I have had a play with it but unfortunately I get a cannot open file message when trying to examine my CHMs (the ones that I cannot open in Flare once I compile them).
I will contact MadCap about this.
