Hi
I would like to know if it is possible to create a skin in Flare that would have the autofit (to contents) property?
Basically, I would like to have a specific skin for some topics called by CSH, this skin looking like a plain text popup (no HTML Help toolbar, no navigation, just plain text ...

Problem(s) in background thread : collection was modified
Morning everyone
I have been entering some index keywords (3 keywords at the same level) in a topic and since then, whatever I do to the topic (delete text or paragraphs, add text or paragraphs), I get the following error message whenever I save my edits:

Me again, with my favourite subject

MadCap.css file
Hello
I have noticed that a MadCap.css file was generated in a Temporary folder of my output folder.
Does this mean that the actual CSS file used is MadCap.css and not the CSS file I have set up in my Flare project?

Re: Changing the background color of the See Also window
Hello Lisa and Pete
You are both right in your assumptions, it looks like it is an HTML Help limitation as the WebHelp equivalent has the colour I have specified in the CSS. The more I dig, the more I find limitations with the HTML format (is that a sign? ). I know it is a pretty old format ...

Re: Changing the background color of the See Also window
Don't ask me why, but it's under helpControlMenu in the stylesheet. Change the background color for that tag.
It does not work for me. I changed the background colour of HelpControlMenu in my stylesheet, checked the changes were actually in my CSS by opening it in a different editor, cleaned my ...

Re: Changing the background color of the See Also window
Hi Pete
Sorry, another silly question.
Does that mean that all our users that have language settings set to anything other than English will have a Topics Found dialog box displayed whenever they are viewing A-links?

Re: Concept links not working for master (merged) projects...
Hi Pete (thanks for your input, once again  )
I guessed the fact that I did not have any A-links in my master project was the issue.
I have added one of the A-link keywords that can be found in my slave projects to a topic in my master project and re-compiled the master project. It seems to ...

Concept links not working anymore
We are about to release our software and I have just discovered with horror that my concept links do not seem to work anymore.
I have not changed the concept entries or the concept association.

Re: CSH : how to specify topics to be displayed in popup window?
Hi Richard,
I have found what you mentioned in your post in the Flare Help ( ). So this means that I do not need to build a target associated with my "popup" skin, I just need to associate the topics I want to see displayed in a popup with the "popup" skin in the alias editor.

Re: CSH : how to specify topics to be displayed in popup window?
Hi Pete
You are not a Flare user???
Thanks, I was not sure we were talking skins. Now I can see a way to implement this, although I think I may need to create a new target to associate my new skin (popup) to (I am not sure but I think that skins apply to targets, not to topics)...

Hi Pete
Thank you for your reply. I will forward your links to the developers.
When you mention the solution with a new Help Window in Flare, what do I need to do to specify a new Help window (I know how to do this in RoboHelp but not in Flare
). Are we talking skins?

CSH : how to specify topics to be displayed in popup window?
Developers I work with would like some of my topics (to do with the description of validation errors) to appear as a popup when the user clicks on a validation error message generated by our app. Is there any way I can control my topic to appear in a popup instead of in the main Help window?

Re: Centering issues (paragraph & table)
Hi Kevin
Thanks for your input.
Paragraphs are slightly off (a bit more towards the left), they have no borders but according to what you are saying, the mis-alignment may be due to the padding. I need to have a look at this.
Tables are still left-aligned. Is there somewhere in the table stylesheet ...

I have a question related to this window.
