This just started with my files this afternoon. I'm seeing the tracked changes, yet the other writers haven't turned on Track Changes.
Flare 9.1.2, Win 7 64-bit, All writers on the same version of Flare, Subversion SC.

Re: Bixarre Index tab behavior
It is a bug according to Tech Support.
I tested the behavior that you described, and found that pressing enter in the Search field triggers the first button in your Output's toolbar in Internet Explorer. I was not able to recreate this in other browsers. Are you using an IE browser, and is your ...

Bixarre Index tab behavior
Flare 9.1.2. WebHelp 2 (HTML5) output.
Type a term into the Index tab and press Return. The terms are returned, but the Windows 7 Print dialog opens.
We already decided to take out the tab prior to this but...weird.

Clearing Collapse under the Advanced tab and adding an A entry did it.

Even with the heading removed, the columns are still misaligned.

Index Column alignment
I'm using the IndexResizable.fpgl for my PDF index. I am also using an AutoIndex set. When I generate the PDF, the columns are misaligned as you can see here.
I want the columns to align. What am I doing wrong?

Re: Two Subversion/Flare errors
With further investigation, it was user error that caused this. Some of the writers added projects with TortoiseSVN instead of binding within Flare and / or used TortoiseSVN to get the projects instead of File>Source Control>Import Project. That's what started the problems. All fixed now. Rule of ...

Re: Subversion - Which folders/files to exclude?
Nita:
I used Flare to bind the projects. The other writers then used Flare to Import from Source Control.
We will see what happens when we exclude the folders. I am the only one who hasn't had problems.
We are only using TortoiseSVN for admin tasks, not for placing files in the repo.
thanks!

Two Subversion/Flare errors
Here are the two errors we are seeing.
The writer captures an image and tries to add it to a project using Insert>Image to place it in the document.
This is the error: Second error,
When she tries to check out the files in Images, she gets this error:

Subversion - Which folders/files to exclude?
We are having some...problems with Subversion 1.7 and Flare 9.1.1. We received some errors when some writers check in or attempt to check in files. We've excluded the Output and Analyze folders. What other folder should we exclude? Project\Users and Project\Reports?

What version of SharePoint? We've had problems with SharePoint 2007 and Flare 9--mostly it taking a long, long time to open and save files.

Page numbering some pages, not others

The developer I'm working with says:
I just open the default browser with the file location. It works if I explicitly type it into the open browser’s window – not if I pass it to the open browser call.

Thanks, RamonS. We're trying to avoid HTTP, but may have to go that route if FILE won't /can't work.
