Re: Bullet image isn't aligning vertically with associated text

It doesn't work? :o
Then it's the use for togglers that changes that behaviour, since it works for bullet icons.

You should have a look at the margin-top and padding-top settings of the hotspot. - Set them to 0.
And don't forget the pseudo classes of the hotspot.

Re: Bullet image isn't aligning vertically with associated text

Never heard of a solution other than this: Add empty space at the top of the image - INSIDE the image file. That pushes down the arrow.

Convert screenshots into vector graphics? I've never seen that working, not even with pro software like photoshop & co, but I have to admit that the last time I tried is about 5 years ago ...
We use plenty of screenshots for our documents and use the PNG format, which works well for screen and even ...

Re: SVG not converted to PNG in Flare 8 WebHelp

Leaving the transformation to Flare is not a good idea. Use a graphic software or converter - that software is specialized to process pics.

It'd surprise me if Corel Draw didn't have a batch conversion that processes folder structures full of files in one go.

That's what I was figuring on doing, except that we'd deliver all three to each customer and, at the very least, provide a software link to each... but it would be great if, from each topic in each target, we could provide a link to another target that has the exact product version they are ...

You have links, e.g. at the top of the topic: All, product 1, product 2

Re: Cannot see all styles - I want a full Paragraph Catalog!

If that is by design, it wasn't completely implemented, since, again, you can have a heading in the effect if it's there before you create the effect.
Precisely. That's why I wrote about the lone developer ... Believe me, I know what I'm talking about - I deal with that sort of developer every day ...

Re: Cannot see all styles - I want a full Paragraph Catalog!

I mean: Inserting a heading into a dropdown body, not into normal text that is to become a dropdown body.

And, NO, it is no option to do it the other way round because we have classes that have to be applied to dropdowns and I generated snippets to reduce the error rate of my colleagues. Apart from ...

Re: Cannot see all styles - I want a full Paragraph Catalog!

I'm afraid the only thing you can do is insert the classes and tags in the html source of the topics:
Context menu of the topic in the Content Explorer -> Open with | Internal Text Editor
At least I didn't find another way to solve that.

I also have snippets that consist of heading tags with dummy ...

Re: Why does Flare outputs ALL the topics when building my HTML5

It wouldn't be so bad if this was the only issue I've had with Flare, but this is the umpteenth time I've had so scour the documentation, the web, and these forums to try and figure out some strange behavior. I have never encountered a product that is so hard to learn and use, and that has so many ...

Re: Why does Flare outputs ALL the topics when building my HTML5

Including topics in the output that are not in the TOC seems odd, but that is the default behavior in Flare. When told this is what Flare does, I didn't believe it until I tried. Sure enough, all of the topics in the project are included (and are returned in the search results!). Am I the only one ...

Two reasons. First, say you inherited the help from someone and they hadn't done a very good job. So bad in fact that your users ignore your help. How do you get them back? Send an email telling them about the all-new help? Great, if they read the email.
