I am setting up Search filters to allow users to limit searches to a specific application within our suite and have gone the route of assigning multiple topics to each concept (in my case the application name).
However, the concept marker is appearing in various places in the topics - in the H1, at ...

Re: TOC and toolbar disappeared from Firefox output
Hi Dave - I am opening from a link. I was going to try opening from the Default.htm file to see if that gave different result but now have a default aspx file called Online help.aspx which doesn't open the help in the browser only the file itself. I notice now that opening Online help.aspx in IE ...

TOC and toolbar disappeared from Firefox output
I am not a techie so would like some help in where to start with the above if possible. It may be something changed here by our techies or not - trouble is I don't know what to check. My Webhelp is fine in IE and that's what all our users use so this is just for my future benefit - but I think it ...

Re: Image in note div displaying over non-scrolling header
Nope - no solution at present. Have had to leave it to meet new release deadline at present. If I get to the bottom of it before anyone else will post to this thread. Can't be a setting on the image itself can it?

Re: Image in note div displaying over non-scrolling header
Half way there - have added a z-index (thank you) of 1 to both h1.ns - my non-scrolling header - and to the breadcrumbs proxy. Span now goes under the header but still over the breadcrumbs.
If I increase the z-index on the breadcrumbs to 2, both span and div disappear under the whole non-scrolling ...

Image in note div displaying over non-scrolling header
Hi - suspect there is a simpler way to do this but learning css as I go :?
For my Notes I have a div with a border containing a span to display the word Note over an image. The span intersects the border around the div.
This works fine:

Re: Can't trust Analyzer anymore!
Good idea Dave - I'll suggest getting paid by the words the mice enter when I'm not here. Will try deleting the folder after have got response to that.

Re: Can't trust Analyzer anymore!
Having just started to use Analyser 3 I have been amazed to see that from Friday and Monday (when I wasn't in work) my project word count went from 17951 to 32326 and is now (Tuesday) showing as 36176 when all I'm doing at the moment is restyling some of the content. So I'm twitchy about the stats too

Re: How to change Topic links from mini-TOC proxy?
Thanks Lisa - you've confirmed my suspicions. I am using the pdfs as a quick way to get our fancy styled Word release notes and instant quick guides on to the site. We deal solely with election software and the UK is in the manic time of the runup to a Parliamentary election hence turning them into ...

How to change Topic links from mini-TOC proxy?
I read in Help that you can base your mini-TOC output on the structure of the TOC from a switch on the Advanced tab in the Target editor. However, I can't make out which of the options is meant on the Advanced tab and not sure what the result would be anyway. The problem I am trying to solve is that ...

Re: Startup topic not appearing
I know - it should work so I have to have something wrong in my setup. I have removed the startup topics from the linked projects but no change. Have attached the Source generated from the blank page generated at build in the hope that this might tell someone something - seems to be calling a topic ...

Startup topic not appearing
I have a main project with 3 other projects linked to it. My startup topic is specified against the target within the main project. However, when the whole lot is published all I get is a blank page in the topic window next to the navigation pane. Once you enter a Search term, or select something in ...

Re: Startup topic not displaying
Already had the option to replace underscores ticked (senior moment). However have discovered the reason the startup topic (welcome.htm) is not appearing is that the index.htm file shows <frame name="body" title="Topic" frameborder="1" src="skin/navigation.htm" /> instead of <frame name="body" title ...

Startup topic not displaying
Having published to a test destination my startup topic is not displaying although is set within the target editor - the first display is just a blank screen on the RH side with the TOC on the LH.
I am being told that this may be because the topic titles have spaces and not underscores. Two ...

Print header and footer frame query
I have set up a 4 page print page layout (R,L,Title and empty) using headers and footers for which I have used styles of p.printheader and p.printfooter. The font should be white on a blue-grey background and shows as such in the frame contents area at the base when editing the text and in my ...

Thanks guys, will do - so when the build message tells you it is removing previously generated content it's lying (a bit) ?
