DepSets folder

I seem to have a one or two entries appearing in the Search returns in WebHelp which are Topics I have deleted. I can only track them down to the above folder which holds a lot of .fllnks files. Can anybody enlighten me as to what these files are? And how I get rid of them in the Search return? - I ...

One merged project output different to rest

I have 4 merged projects with the same stylesheet applied to both the target (WebHelp) and the projects. In working Flare mode everything is fine. However, when I built the target 3 of the projects (including the "container" project) were using the correct stylesheet but the 4th was not using the ...

Drop downs in print output

Have been looking at a 2007 post re the above but still unsure about the result. Having gaily scattered drop-downs around am now thinking that they won't appear in the print output - and I need them to as am using them to cut down on the page view and, in effect, hide extra information. Is this ...

Re: Image naming in Images folder

Adrian - Duh! now remembered that someone suggested the thumbnail view before, but now have dual screens so can access the images side by side. As you say, is not perfect but, having tried it, it does save a bit of time. Many thanks

Re: Image naming in Images folder

Thanks Paul - I was afraid that was going to be the answer :-(

Unfortunately, the source documents have been written by several different people using cut/paste, Paint etc with no references. With no preview option the image has to be opened before I know what to call it which slows me down ...

Image naming in Images folder

Having imported Word documents and the two Robohelp projects I find myself with hundreds of images, all numbered - many of which are duplicated. What is the easiest/quickest way to rename them so that I can easily reuse in different parts of the Help file and cut down on the load time? Apologies if ...

Re: Master page footer alignment moving - how to stop?

Thanks to both. I have done as Dave suggests and is fine now. Will try and get my head round this image float business but teaching myself CSS at the same time as learning Flare and at the same time doing the rest of my dayjob, so too much information whirling in my head!

Master page footer alignment moving - how to stop?

I have entered a footer on my master page holding the company info. Usually this is displaying OK in preview but when it is on the bottom of a page which ends with text wrapping round a floated image, the footer text follows the page text and also wraps round the image . Any idea how I stop this ...

CSS Idiot question

I want to change the spacing between my paragraphs (not the line height)as they are too widely spaced in the output. Assume this is governed by padding somewhere but where???

Re: Renaming images imported via Word

Thanks for both replies - very helpful. It was the thumbnails I was after so Explorer on Large Icons does the trick.

Renaming images imported via Word

Can anybody advise on the quickest route to renaming images in an imported Word doc which are just given numbers i.e. 03000035.png - there's hundreds of them <sigh>. Also same in the Robohelp import. Is there a way to preview I can use so I can at least see them other than opening them one at a time ...
