Re: Developing Training Materials
We embed SurveyMonkey quizzes ... the last page in the path contains the quiz. This allows us to track user progress for the most part, and then when the user completes the quiz, we get a notification on whether they've passed (and can then issue a certificate).

Re: Developing Training Materials
Our training team has created a series of videos and other materials for users to view as part of their overall training, and we're planning on providing links to these in the training area of the Help system. We would also like to include a form of some kind to allow users to be quizzed/certified ...

Re: Push failure - Flare is changing an email address in Git
OUR GIT expert solved it:
2. Access Flare project directory, right-click empty > Git Bash:
3. Paste the following into the Git Bash (below credentials must be identical to what appears in Gerrit):
git config --global user.name "<Your User Name>"
git config --global user.email <your email>

Hi, did you submit a bug for this? We use Git with BitBucket and haven't upgraded to Flare 2019 yet, waiting for the early bugs to be ironed out first but I suspect this issue would be a major problem for us if it hit.

TheGreatAndPowerfulOz, I would like to get a copy of the docs you created for getting Flare set up with Git. I am new to the forums and can't seem to send a PM directly to you.
Hi, bj25x. To send me a PM, just click the "PM" button at right of my post (looks like the following):

How to fix topic TOC overflowing the content container
Every section (or "chapter") of our HTML5 Top Navigation online Help system includes an introductory topic, whose content is typically short and sweet—just enough to give the user an idea of what the topics in that section will cover. Each topic, including the intro topic, includes a contextual TOC ...

Hi, all.
I did some searching in the forums for discussion around my particular question, but didn't come up with any hits. I'll admit my search wasn't exhaustive , so forgive me if this is a "repeat"! :)

Re: Drop-down body content displays momentarily on page load
I really couldn't take the "flashing" of drop-down content on page load any longer, so I spent some time today in an effort to get to the bottom of it! I'm pleased to report that I've come up with a working solution (a workaround), to override what I believe to be a flaw in the way Flare creates ...

Drop-down body content displays momentarily on page load
Hello, all.

@Psider / @Nita Beck,
Thanks for your valuable feedback. The addition of "overflow: auto" to the "div.note" selector in my style sheet did the trick!
(Sorry for the delayed response. I was out of the office for a few days and didn't see your posts.)

Note divs and side menus in HTML5 top navigation output
Hello, all.
I've recently begun using HTML5 top navigation output for one of my Flare projects, and I noticed a curious issue with the way "note" divs (don't) wrap around the side menu. I'm using one of the out-of-the box templates from MadCap, so it just looks like an oversight in design.

I just noticed the "s.data.split is not a function" JS error in my HTML5 - Tripane output, as well.
Based on the console info, I'd have to agree that it's coming from MadCapAll.js (line 22):

Re: Prevent images overflowing page margin in PDF output
I thought that if you set the max-width property for your <img> (or, more precisely, all image classes) to 100%, that says that the image can take up a maximum of the width of the container in which it's put.
