Re: TFS db migration to new server; need to re-bind project?

I think you should just be able to edit the path in the flprj file.

Before you start, unbind your current project from the old source control location. Also check its workspace mappings are removed in Visual Studio (or TFS Explorer).
You can then delete the local files if you want to.

To update ...

4) Open Flare and import the project from its new location in source control, using: File>New Project>Import Project > Source Control .
One more question, Dave:

If I check the .flprj file out via VS, map it to the directory where my project is going to reside locally, edit the paths therein and ...

Re: TFS db migration to new server; need to re-bind project?

Thanks for your quick and detailed response, Dave.

I just have one question (since I'm not very experienced with TFS terminology/concepts): How do I go about checking that the project's "workspace mappings" are removed in Visual Studio? I just poked around a bit in there and found the "Advanced ...

TFS db migration to new server; need to re-bind project?

Hello, all.

I've done a bit of searching in the forum on this topic, but couldn't seem to find anything that reflects my current situation...

My company is setting up a new source control server and migrating our existing TFS database to reside on it. I've had my Flare project bound to TFS for ...

Re: Display Existing PDF in a PDF Output??

there's a new "PDF stitching" feature in v11 which I think should do exactly what you want.
See: http://webhelp.madcapsoftware.com/flare11/Content/Output/PDF_Output/Stitching_PDFs.htm
Sweet! Thank you for the reply, Dave.

I recently updated to v11, but hadn't explored too much yet nor seen this ...

Re: Display Existing PDF in a PDF Output??

I'm trying to include all of these extra pdfs as an appendix and then send my pdf to a printer to create a manual.
I would love to know if anyone can provide some instructions on how to do just what melrose12112 is trying to do.

I've also been asked to add an appendix to my Flare PDF output ...

Re: Left Table indentation to get table in line with list

You don't actually NEED a <div> to place the table, as far as I'm aware.
(@TheGreatAndPowerfulOz, why did you specify to put it in a div?
I think you're right, ChoccieMuffin. There is no need to use a <div> element to place a <table> element within a <li> element. That's just the way I wound up ...

The screen capture of your code doesn't represent all the content of the topic, so it's a little tough to troubleshoot as is.

Would you mind copying/pasting all the code in your topic to a text file and attaching it here? I'm sure we can sort it out with that in hand.

Re: Left Table indentation to get table in line with list

I need the list under the table to align at the level I highlighted to match the list above the table, but it is creating additional lists that I can't remove or it places it at the very first bullet point.
Without seeing your actual code this is a little bit of a shot in the dark, but I'm ...

we accomplish hiding the drop-down text from print outputs by using a condition tag

Re: Flare 10 bug: Can't handle spans around drop-down hotspots

you don't have a <MadCap:dropDownHotspot> tag in the dropDownHead
Thanks, Dave.

That was actually just an oversight in pasting the code into this post. In reality, I have a snippet within the parentheses that contains the <MadCap:dropDownHotspot> tag. I just forgot to put it in here.

I'll update ...

Flare 10 bug: Can't handle spans around drop-down hotspots

So, I was really excited to download and install Flare v10, with all its fancy new features. As soon as I published my HTML5 target, however, I was met with great disappointment... Nothing to do with all the great new features, mind you (they're great!), but because of a glaring bug that's been ...

I decided to run a full-project spell check today and soon ran into the system resources issue that's been reported here (Windows 7, 8 Gb RAM, i5 CPU).

I don't really think it matters how many files actually get changed in the process of spell checking; it seems more to do with Flare's action of ...

1) In order for the build error to occur, the conditional tag applied must be ...
