Did you use the Unicode code for the symbols, or use what was imported? Use © for copyright and ® for registered trademark. They work in non-Word content, so I'd assume they would work for you as well. You may need to do a Find/Replace in the sourcecode to get them corrected if they are not ...

I have had the same problem. It seems that if you just change one field and save, it does not recognize the change. Tab or click out of the field, and an asterisk will show next to the file name on the title bar. Saving will then take effect. I reported it as a bug soon after I began using Flare.
