Madcap Software doesn't allow you to customize the Dot Net viewer, the more people who request it, the better chance they will do it.

That should work, as long as you make sure that you have the latest version of the file and you talk among your users.. You may want to consider using source control software, that way you couldn't over the other users files.

Also the Dot Net output if not embeded into an application would require you to install the Dot Net Viewer on your end user machines, That would not be required for Webhelp as Everyone already has a browser.

You may want to upgrade to Flare v4.1 and see if that corrects the issue, If you have a support contract Madcap should give you a free upgrade.

Real simple where you set the logo to none, just have it browse for the image, and point to your image that you want to use, it will then be copied into the skin file.

It doesn't appear that Madcap currently allows you to modifiy the dot net viewer, the more feature requests they get, the better the chance they will do it.

You will want to change the icon itself and add a new one, or on the toolbar create a custom toolbar and remove the logo from there.

If you have Firewall block register.madcapsoftware.com port 80 you should not be prompted for the updates, but this will also Stop any other Madcap software product from getting the updates.
