Hey, I didn't know about "Show Files."
Wow. Cool! It's working.
Thank you!

Re: Importing RoboHelp project containing merged topic
Okay, I have them "grabbed," but how do I move them? I don't see any dialog for that. I know it must be here somewhere.wclass wrote:Even if you have hundreds, you can use the File List and move them many at a time.

Re: Importing from RoboHelp - no Resources folder
This appears to function one image at a time. I am asked to update the links and I click yes. This would be great if I had only 10 images or so. I have many more than that.
I tried grabbing more than one file at a time, but Flare won't let me do that, or I don't know how.

Importing from RoboHelp - no Resources folder
When I import projects from RoboHelp, the images just sort of hang out on their own without benefit of a folder.
There is no Resources folder and no Images folder. Did I do something incorrectly?
Should I try to re-import the project?

Re: Importing RoboHelp project containing merged topic
If we can vote on this, I'd choose to import from RH where I could, and add a smaller Word file later, rather than all from Word.
I did as you suggested. Things look okay, except the images are all just "out there." They are not collected under Resources or any other folder. As fas as I can see ...

Importing H1 Word headings as separate Flare topics
I'm importing a large Word document, around 200 pages, that was exported from RoboHelp.
In RH, each H1 heading was its own topic.
I would like import this Word document into Flare and make each H1 heading a separate topic in Flare.
If I can't do this automatically on import, how can I do it ...

Importing RoboHelp project containing merged topic
I'm having problems with this. Based on another thread, I have submitted a feature request/bug report.
Meanwhile, I need a workaround. The project I'm muscling into Flare is my biggie. It HAS to go IN.
Hammers, duct tape, nails, glue, crowbars, whatever it takes.

Okay. How should I phrase it?
"Please allow printed documentation for merged projects."
Will that do it and will they know what I'm talking about?

Was a feature request ever submitted for this?SteveS wrote:Hi Petra,
Sorry, but my understanding is you can't create printed output from a merged project.
You can add a request at http://www.madcapsoftware.com/bugs/submit.aspx. I've been meaning to lodge one and you'vee jogged my memory.

Re: One style sheetsheet to rule them all
I hope I'm not being too much of a newbie when I say, IT WORKS!
I got a stylesheet that I customized to actually function!
And on a Friday, no less!
Yippee!
I'll go sit down now.

Re: One style sheetsheet to rule them all
One of them just has to be renamed because you can't have two files with the same name.
Well, you can, they just have to be in different folders. But it's probably not a good idea to have two stylesheets of the same name, even if they're in different folders.

Re: One style sheetsheet to rule them all
Yes. You just have to save it to C:\Documents and Settings\myname\My Templates\StyleSheets
(create the last two folders if necessary)
Then, when you add a new stylesheet to your project, you can choose your "default" from the My Templates option.

Difference between Building and Publishing?
When I build a project, is that the same as publishing it?

I think I found it.
It is the Basic tab of the primary target in the Targets folder in the Projects Organizer.

When you say "basic tab," are you being literal or metaphorical?Richard Ferrell wrote:You can change the output of Flare, in Your Target on the basic tab.

Probably not the problem, but you don't have your output directory set to the same directory that your content is in, do you?
