Thanks for all the suggestions!
I really like the idea of using an import. Would this also work for the scenario where I'm generating the multi-language PDF from the English project?

Auto-Number Text and Translations
For my English project, I'm using auto-numbered text for Notes/Tips/Warnings/Dangers/Cautions divs, so when the style is applied, the appropriate text is auto-populated.
Question : For my translated projects, would it be best to use a single .CSS with no auto-numbered text defined for these ...

Re: H1 Spacing Varies Based on TOC Chapter Break Settings? - Bug
I submitted this issue to tech support, and they've confirmed this is a bug and that the page break is overriding any top margin set for the H1 property.

Re: Horizontal line in TOCproxy at end of page? - Solved
I just figured it out. Yesterday I modified my top-level div style to include a top and bottom border. The bottom border was being applied to the TOC proxy. I changed my MadCap|tocProxy style to the following and the borders are now gone.
MadCap|tocProxy
{
border-bottom: none 0pt;

Horizontal line in TOCproxy at end of page?
Hi,
I had previously modified the default MadCap | tocProxy style to exclude the horizontal line at the top of the page. I haven't modified this style again, but for some reason, I now have a horizontal line at the end of proxy (on the first page, it's at the bottom of the page and on the second ...

Re: Table splitting problem
I have one more related question. I also have the double-border problem if I have merged cells within a table. Is there a way to fix/control this using the td style?

Re: Table splitting problem
Thanks!
I did have the Cell Border Spacing (both Vertical and Horizontal) set to zero and the Collapse Cell Borders enabled in the table style, but I'm still getting the double border. :(
I'll try turning off the borders and add the borders to the td and th tags. I'll post back with the results ...

Re: Table splitting problem
I have a similar problem. The double horizontal border is appearing at the bottom of the table on the first page, where it splits to the second page. Like your table, I have the outer borders and separators defined as 1px solid, but don't use repeating patterns. I'm using a table style, with td and ...

Re: Best Utilization of MadCap Lingo for Doc Team? - SOLVED
According to MadCap Tech Support, multiple writers can connect to the same translation memory hosted on a network drive. If doing in-house translations, the first option is probably best to speed up the translation process. If using a translation company or if a separate department in your company ...

Re: H1 Spacing Varies Based on TOC Chapter Break Settings?
The headings do all start at the top of the page. I originally had all of the "chapter" topics set to flow together (I only set the chapter "start" for the first TOC entry after the front cover, as I didn't want the front cover page layout to be applied to the chapter topics).
But the spacing ...

H1 Spacing Varies Based on TOC Chapter Break Settings?
I'm working on a printed quick start guide (a 4.75 x 4.75 "jewel case" document). For this document, I have 3 page layouts: one for the front cover, one for the chapter content and one for the back cover. Because it's a small QSG, the chapter page layout only has a single "Normal" page because we ...

According to tech support, you currently can't delete the TM from Madcap Lingo (known bug that they hope to fix in the next version). The list is populated from the registry and the only way to clear it to uninstall/reinstall the program.

I was able to use this method to delete the database from the SQL server, but is there a way to delete it from within Madcap Lingo (so it isn't populated in the "Translation Memory" list within Lingo dialogs)?

This just leaves the image issue. It seems I will have to place the image on the cover page in each separate project, instead of on the page layout. It does not seem to take by placing it once on the main page.

Re: Unable to get Heading Variables to Display in PDF
I'm having a similar problem, but only with my FrontMatter topics. I currently have one page layout that I use for the FrontMatter and chapters. Within the right page header, I have the following Heading variable: Level1. Within the chapters, I use "H1" as the Heading 1 style, and in the FrontMatter ...
