If the style sheet is set in the Project Properties dialog or Target file, the style sheet drop-down will be grayed out/disabled when in the Topic properties dialog.

Re: Flare 11 - Font colors in dropdown menus
Within the skin, you should be able to specify it under Styles > Menu > 1st Level > Font > Color for the first level of menu drop-down.

Re: Topic Toolbar Proxy in HTML5 Top Nav not showing Prev &
According to the Flare help, Next Topic and Previous Topic are not supported in the TopNav output. Here's the help topic; you'll have to click on "WHICH OUTPUTS SUPPORT WHICH BUTTONS?" to see the list.

Re: Add Custom Content to Header
No, if you're using the top nav skin, then you just add your script directly to your master page or topic - Kathryn is on the right track.

Glad it's working! Sorry, my previous post wasn't very clear.

You can add it to the new Flare 11 Toolbar skin file. On the Setup tab of the Toolbar skin is the "Custom JavaScript to include in Toolbar page" option.kathryngz wrote:Is anyone aware of a way I can still add jQuery to the skin? I'm comfortable doing that, if I just know where to do it

We do something similar to kwag_myers too.
Not sure if this helps with your issue, but we have found that we often have missing spaces between words when inline formatting (bold, italics, span tags, etc.) is applied to one or more words. In the XML editor, it can be difficult to visually determine ...

Another option is to use the master TOC to generate multiple PDFs based on where the chapter breaks are assigned. From the Flare help:

We have a couple of PDF mediums in our stylesheets for our various PDF page sizes.

Re: Issues with Back function in HTML5 Flare 10.2
I reported this issue to TS in February, as I noticed in when testing IE8 & IE9, using Flare 9.x and Win7-64. It was logged as bug report number 86575. But in my case, clicking the Back button once returned to the home page, while clicking it twice returned to the appropriate topic.

Re: Problem with alignment of text in different fonts in tables
I might be way off base, but another factor to consider for multi-line paragraphs in Flare tables is that when you have a carriage return in the table cell, Flare automatically converts it from a "td" or "th" tag to a "p" tag. In this case, whatever settings you have applied to your default ...

The Div says to break, and I told it not to. What's the point of having the style editor when it won't pick up in the code. I know I changed that.
I've noticed that happen for me in the past too when using the GUI to edit the .css. I tend to use a text editor for the most part.

Re: TOC breaks after title
Random guess - in your stylesheet, does the div style have "page-break-inside: avoid;" applied to it?
*Edit*: The above guess assumes that the generated TOC exceeds one page in the output.

I'm having the same problem in my published WebHelp output in IE only, and I've had to resort to use of a graphic for the copyright symbol. Does anyone have a solution?

Another footnote bug I recently encountered is if using HTML5 and using the footnote feature in a table (rather than using cross-referencing or manual superscript workarounds), Chrome does not display the footnote number as superscript. Support has confirmed this is a bug.

I use divs for my notes, and use the following to control the background positioning. However, I haven't tried this when using a paragraph tag.
background-position: left center;
FWIW, here's the code I use for my div notes:
div.Note

A few follow-up questions:

Hi! To cover this scenario, our projects are configured so that each modular topic uses an H1 heading, allowing us to mix-and-match topics for reuse without worrying about the heading level. Within the stylesheet, we still define the properties for the H2 - H6 headings for all mediums. For PDF ...
