Re: HTML Help output Images and MS Word Images driving me nuts

Hi Baby moon, some correction
PhotoPaint allows you to Batch Process the DPI
Snagit allows you to batch process the DPI setting in each file as well.
...
Snagit 9 moved the commands around, so i was a bit lost. anyway its in IMage > Filters> Resolution(DPI)

BTW, that's "bobmoon" or just Bob. :D ...

Re: HTML Help output Images and MS Word Images driving me nuts

Thanks for the summary, that worked perfectly. My PNG files were captured at 96 dpi, and when I change them to 150 dpi, they look great in both online and print.

For the record, SnagIt and Corel PhotoPaint don't seem to allow changing the dpi of an image without changing the overall dimensions. If ...

Re: "open topic with navigation" causes weird TOC behavior

See this thread. I think you're experiencing the same thing --> http://forums.madcapsoftware.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=6025&p=32946

I saw that thread before I posted, but didn't think it was the same issue. Clicking the "Open topic with navigation" link works as expected for me. It's the behavior ...

"open topic with navigation" causes weird TOC behavior

I'm testing the "open topic with navigation" functionality and it's behaving strangely.(I'm using Flare 3.1.)

I click the link in the "standalone" browser page to view the topic in the WebHelp navigation, and the topic is displayed using the WebHelp UI as expected. However, when I click a link in ...

Re: Snippet in WebHelp output

Duh. I thought I had looked at the individual htm files in the output folder and didn't see the snippet text in there. I guess I was looking in the content folder and not the output folder.

Thanks!

Snippet in WebHelp output

I've got a webhelp project that uses a snippet in a header in every topic. The header includes a link to another page, and I had to change the link in the snippet. This worked fine--when I recompile, the link now works correctly in every topic header.

Now I need to post this update to the server. I ...

Re: Compile error on HTML file

This problem seems to be an issue with Flare 3.1, and I've reported it to Support.

To sum up, the error happens when Flare 3.1 tries to compile an HTML Help project containing imported HTML files. The files in question were generated by Adobe Captivate to display Flash movies inside the help ...

Compile error on HTML file

We've got a project that is not compiling HTML Help anymore. During the compile I get the "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." error message when it tries to compile a particular file.

I am able to compile the project as WebHelp without errors, so it seems that it's something to ...
