Hi,
In the Styles tab for the skin there are settings for CrossReferenceFormat (the default is " See \"{paratext}\")") and CrossReferencePrintFormat (the default is "See \"{paratext}\" on page {page}"). Xref styles are set in the stylesheet so I don't understand why these styles are in the skin too ...

Thanks Lisa.
If you right-click a graphic, select Object and then go to the Position tab there is the option to set the float to "Center of Column". What is the purpose of this setting?

Thanks,

I apologize if this has been covered in another topic, but the Forum Search is not allowing me to use any of the search terms I need. :(
A good workaround is to use Google Advanced Forums Search:

Hi David,
I reported problems like this to MadCap back in February too and commented briefly on it in this post (http://forums.madcapsoftware.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=8032) in relation to graphics that have callouts.

Hi Adrian,
Did you ever resolve this? We are going through this same discussion here.
My thought is to just use the Text Background button on the toolbar. The color appears in both WebHelp and PDF. To remove the formatting, search for:' style="background-color: #ffd700;"' in the code and replace ...

Referencing chapter numbers with xrefs
Hi,

Regular expression support in Replace function
Hi,
Regarding Find/Replace, does the Replace function support regular expression backreferences for groups that are part of the Find expression?
I tried the following tokens but none worked (it treated the characters as literal):
\1
\\1
$1
Am I using the wrong syntax or this not possible in ...

Thanks Andrew.
It looks like your answer is applicable to classes intended for cells, rows or columns whereas I was asking about the CSS class button in the Table Properties dialog box -- isn't this applied to the whole table?

When adding a topic you specify a filename and can optionally specify a first heading. If you dont it inserts one for you based on the file name, as Dave said. However, the dialog does not let you specify a title tag and Flare does not seem to add a title automatically ...

Adding topics to a TOC by drag & drop
Hi,
When you add an entry to the TOC by dragging a file from the Content Explorer onto it the entry automatically takes its name from the text of the first paragraph in the file. I don't suppose there is an option to have it use the file name instead (without the html extension) ?
Thanks,
Adrian

Level heading variables pick up wrong headings
Hi,
Regarding the use of the "Level..." heading variables, the Flare help file says this:

However, it doesn't really seem to work like this.

It seems that if you have IntelliSense turned on (I didn't) you can add a variable quickly this way but it still does not seem to do what I want, which is allow you to change a variable that is already in the topic to another. Regardless of whether you just click the variable or select the whole ...
