I have been using version 10 and I'm getting several "this application has encountered a problem" message and asks to send a report back to MadCap. For example, I was using Ctrl + Z today and the application asked me that and then closed.

Has anyone ever added a font resizer button to the toolbar (like the CHM output) ?

Also, does anyone know of a way (instructions) to add custom jQuery modules to a Flare project?

The Contributor product from MadCap is targeted to address workflows.

However, I really wish MadCap would allow Flare users to publish commenting-enabled PDFs and then import those PDF files back in ... then work with edits / comments from the PDF file.

not using subversion but we have found too that VSS is slower ...

OK ... now I have to use the Source Control > Refresh trick/method before I can Get latest Version All . If I don't refresh then Flare tells me everything is up-to-date. If I refresh first, then get all versions, I get this long list of retrieving files.

So reply from MC is there is no way to reposition the popup style. A bug report has been submitted and it 'might' get fixed in the future.

In the mean time I will have to use drop-downs. Best solution so far. Also, I'd say report it if you want it. Power in numbers.

I have submitted a bug report but I have not heard back from anyone.

I tried the "Deleting "CatapulMdiEditor" folder" ... however nothing improved.

From the task manager, flare.exe is taking up just over 140 K of memory. That is more than any other program running (normally) and it still doesn't ...

I am having the same issue and as the day goes on Flare never opens ... I have submitted a bug report.

I have to reboot the PC to get Flare to even open most of the time.

I have moments when using this version of Flare where I get a freeze or longer than normal pause ... however my projects are on the network. Andrew has confirmed what I thought was happening.

ok ... I'm not using the decoration frame now and change to use one header and one footer frame ... ok it is "working" now ... but intuitive it's not.

I do not have the option of a "text frame" ... it is not a choice for me to choose. :shock: :?:

I'm trying to create a title page that is using decoration frames with text (F2 to edit text). The text is just static text plus using a user variable. I can get decoration frames that are simply a colored bar to render in the pdf created file. But the decoration frames with text will not display ...

Has anyone recived an error when recording that is in a Microsoft .NET Framework dialog that reads:

"Only TrueType fonts are supported. This is not a TrueType font."
