Updating style sheets using copy/paste

Re: Section numbers not continuing from previous
Resolution from MadCap Support:
Adding the characters CA to the beginning of the {chapnum}.{n+} format resulted in incremental values in the TOC, as desired.

Re: Section numbers not continuing from previous
Update:
I tried simplifying the process, using only one auto-number format (chapnum) only two style levels deep, to achieve the desired result of:
1 (section title)
1.1 (major heading under section title)
1.2 (major heading under section title)
1.3 (major heading under section title)

Thanks for the suggested workaround, Lisa. I will try that. I submitted an enhancement request for this (Case 12759).

XRefs for page ranges
Hello,
I'm trying to create a cross-reference style that references a range of pages (ex: Please see pages 41-45). I have not been able to figure this out. Has anyone attempted this, or know how this would be done?
Thanks.

Varying font sizes in printed TOC
Hello,
I'm noticing strange results in a printed TOC: the font sizes of the entries in the TOC are not consistent (see example below). I don't believe I have ever seen this before, and I'm not sure what has caused it. What, if anything, determines the font size of TOC entries?

Re: Section numbers not continuing from previous
Thanks. I will try removing the section and/or chapter auto-number formats, and try a single format type (GH: for example) across the document.

Re: Section numbers not continuing from previous
Lisa,
Thanks - I actually was using that post as a reference. The problem is, when I use the GH: format, it starts everything with 0. For example:
0
0.1
0.1.1
I can't seem to figure out how to get the '0' to accurately reflect the heading (in this case, chapter) number. Any ideas?

Re: Section numbers not continuing from previous
A related issue:
I'm trying to add incremental auto-numbering, three levels deep, to headings in a chapter. I have created new styles with auto-numbering assigned to them. No matter what I try, I cannot get them to increment correctly.

Re: Section numbers not continuing from previous
Flare's Printed Output guide is somewhat deceiving, then:
In Flare, you can specify section breaks for print-based output (Adobe PDF, Microsoft XPS, XHTML,
Microsoft Word, and Adobe FrameMaker).

Resizing images results in new image files in output folder
Hello,
When I manually re-size an image in a topic (using the drag handle at the lower-right of the image) and save the change, Flare seems to create a copy of that image, with the new dimensions appended to the filename (see example below). The new file appears in the output folder (DotNet in this ...

Re: Images exploded in Word output
Yes, the medium is set to Print. This occurs for all images in the document. I haven't checked the DPI - that may be the culprit.
Thanks for the reply.

TOC depth in PDF bookmarks
What defines the hierarchy/depth of entries in the Bookmarks pane in PDF output from Flare? Is this also defined by the mc-heading-level style property?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Adding a watermark to printed output
Thanks for the replies. The DPI info is especially helpful, as it probably explains why my 400x300/300DPI image is about 1/3 the size in the output. I wasn't sure what was causing that.

Adding a watermark to printed output
Is there any way to add watermark text, such as "Draft", to all pages (or at least the cover) in printed output? I can't seem to find a way to do this.
Thanks in advance,
Thanks in advance,
