I wonder if it's a read-write issue, like for Analyzer proper?
Analyzer topic: Can't open a project
Are you using source control? If so, could be that, like me, you mistakenly had the Analyzer folder in source control. If not checked out, it is read-only and Analyzer won't work.

...However there are certain tasks that you cannot do in that scenario without major repercussions. For example, if you want to rename a file, you have a problem. If you rename the file in Flare, you get your SVN project out of whack, because SVN thinks the new name is a whole new file, and thinks ...

Right.
When I have some time I'll get them to do a test build with WebHelp.

Re: Tables- multiple row deletion
1) click and drag to select cells in the rows to be deleted
2) Right-click
3) Click Delete
4) Click Rows
OR
Table > Delete > Rows.
Interesting that the command has an Microsoft-type icon next to it, as if it would be available on a toolbar (it isn't, but no biggie).

Re: Glossary tab?
I'll look again into WebHelp, but
a) we are context-sensitive
b) many of our implementations are in remote areas with little or no network access
c) the developers baulked at the idea of a multitude of htm files on the pc (about 1600 active pages)
How about DotNet Help?

7man40 - did you ever get this resolved? Are you (or anyone else) using Flare 4.2 bound to Perforce on Vista? Or just doing manual check out/in/add/delete?

Glossary tab?
In my RH-generated chm, the glossary could be attached to a tab, with the contents displayed in the navigation panel - this is very neat.
Is it possible to attach a Glossary tab to a chm generated in Flare?

Got it.
float=aligncenter was set in a snippet created from a footer in an imported RH template.

Re: How can we edit the same file?
As long as you have a Microsoft Source Control API compatible Source Control you can use any source control to bind it to you
Perforce is Microsoft Source Control API compatible but it just refuses to bind.

+1 for source control - I'd say an essential for multiple users.
Perforce doesn't bind with Flare (yet).
If you're in a software development company, talk to your developers.

Re: Help? Analyzer finding "broken" links, etc., in Snippets
I'd like to add to this discussion - I'm also finding undefined classes in snippets - it's because the snippet isn't linked to the stylesheet.
I haven't found anywhere in the GUI to link a snippet to a stylesheet so I'm inserting a line in the <head> section:

Flare Analyzer not recognising project
I'm talking about the Flare internal analyzer, not the superduper external application.

Re: Flare changing table settings; odd appearance in editor
Perhaps more worrying is that the table settings sometimes change - has anyone seen that?
This particular observation is with a one-column table - changes col width from auto to 100%. Not a big issue as it compiles OK and does what I want it to.
On other occasions, however, Flare has changed fixed ...
