Re: Embedded Topic Toolbar
Check out this past forum regarding the removal of the logo in webhelp. It's possible the method is the same for the topic toolbar.

Re: Dual Screem & Capture
I resolve it myself by dragging the contents to my primary screen. I use madcap capture all the time and love it. I don't know if it can work on the secondary screen ever.
I would like to know if someone does find a way.

Re: Format of index entries, TOC entries
I know there is a way to do it, as there are other forum posts in here who have used examples set up similar to what you are asking. Have you searching the forum?
I suggest that you try to change you stylesheet so your index and TOC only have 1 column instead of 2. I know the default is a two ...

Re: Problem applying stylesheet to multiple targets
This might seem like a silly question, but did you assign each of the 3 targets to use the stylesheet? I had the issue where I can assign the stylesheet to the project, but it wouldn't use it in build until I assigned the stylesheet to the target. Just a thought.

images and page layout
Hello,
I am working in the page layout and have created an image frame and selected my image. When I do a build, everything in the page layout shows up except the image. Does anyone know why that would happen?

Re: index autonumber issue
Hey Lisa,
I just wanted to let you know I figured out the issue. You mentioned how it doesn't pull well from a network. My project files were on a network a few weeks ago, but I decided to put them onto my local machine. When I was opening the files, I thought I was pulling them from the local ...

Re: Finding topics in the Content Explorer Window
Flare 4.2 only allows you to go to Edit>Find in Files. That allows you to put in a keyword and searches all topics.
Other than that, looks like you will have to put in a feature request.

Re: index autonumber issue
I did a test and deleted my index proxy. Then did a new build. All my bookmarks like the one shown in the example disappeared. So I am am still trying to figure out if that has a correlation to why my page numbers are not showing up.

I have an issue with the index not putting numbers at some of the index entries. Here is what the output looks like:

Re: graphic bleeds into footer
I just received an email from MadCap Technical Support that tells me this bug is not able to be fixed in the current version of Flare, but has been reported as fixed in the next version of Flare due out next month.
Sounds good to me.

Re: Finding topics in the Content Explorer Window
Content explorer always has them lined up alphabetically. What you could do is put a number in front of the topic title that will force topics into a numerical order. In order to set up the TOC, just click "Open Master TOC" and then you can drag topics from the content explorer into the TOC. Then ...

Re: Finding topics in the Content Explorer Window
The topics should be in alphabetical order in Content Explorer, so I do not see what the need is to search for topics. Can't you just go to Edit>Find files?

Re: variables and templates
I don't know what I was thinking. Instead of creating variables, I just put the company name and copyright on the cover page directly, then all I have to do is change the main page layout and when the rest of my projects build, they will reimport the information. It's easier than changing a variable ...

Re: graphic bleeds into footer
My images still bleed into the footer and I already have the page break inside: avoid turned on.
I fix this by moving my images up so they are in a different place in the text because the text does not overlap.

Re: graphic bleeds into footer
I already have page break inside: avoid included because the page was breaking by putting an image on one page and it's caption on another page. Now, the only issue I have is the floating images do not adhere to the body box specified in the page layout, which is why it runs into the footer and of ...
